  • Wow, that's a great price. Don't think I've ever seen them for under $25

Yeah that is a good price. Great case too, except I thought the ethernet port out the front was a bit silly.

    • I hate how the ethernet is at the front, don't get why they don't put it at the back.

      • Probably it has something to do with the cost, having an extra LAN board isn't practical.

        https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/17322/moving-ethernet-to…

Thinking of doing the same but with cheaper parts and easier hack: RJ F-F inline socket connected by a very short cat5 cable then hot glued.

        • I managed to cut a hole in the bottom and route a cable directly into the RPi.

        • Realised a pic might help… πŸ˜‚

Made a hole under the pop off bit large enough for a RJ45, connected to the RPi and installed without any dramas. Trimmed the bottom part to fit back on to keep it all in place.

There goes your mSD card storage…

        • @Yummy: Oh no! πŸ˜‚

I never change the mSD, so zero loss there.

        • @ryang:
One microsd card. Gosh you are boring.

          :p

          @ryang:

Tried the inline socket, no room in there. Pity, but I don't use LAN much except transfering, editing, etc. So instead that, I went hardcore modding, added an extra fan. :P

Not just A fan, it is powered by outside adapter. I might overclock this little monster into super big monster. :D

      • I hate how the ethernet is at the front

Use a USB extension cable with a right-angled plug, and plug in a 100Mbps USB-Ethernet adaptor. With the right length USB extension, the adaptor will be hidden behind your desk.

Great case - although my Rosegal order took something like 10-12 weeks to arrive.
So long that they assumed it was lost and gave me a refund….

Was like Christmas opening it up a few months after when I'd no idea what I'd gotten in the post!

  • Old version right?

  • Dammit, bought one at $30 couple weeks back.

Looks like this is Plus+ ver (with safe shutdown switch and script).

Read the comments. Don't ever buy from Rosegal unless you want to wait 2 months

  • Thanks OP. Got one — hope it actually arrives though per the comments.

  • I bought one, but my hopes are not high after they sent me a completely wrong item last time.

  • Got one last time from them great case

  • I've ordered one too. Hopefully everything works out. Thanks OP!
