    Interpreting Term 12 in the T & C,

Movies passes must be used at a participating cinema and may not be used for any of the following: (i) 3D movie sessions; (ii) during public holidays; (iii) ‘no free listing’ sessions; (iv) after 5pm on Saturdays; (v) Gold Class sessions; (vi) group bookings; or (vii) movie marathons. Movie passes must be redeemed by the date indicated on the movie passes.

As it mentions Gold Class, it appears that these tickets are for Village Cinemas.

    • Event Cinemas (BCC & Greater Union) have Gold Class as well.

      • Ah ok. Guess that means no Hoyts.

I need to get my mind out of the gutter…

    Great… :(

Now that it's on Ozbargain, the tickets will run out in a few hours….

    • +1

Will they have a countdown from 5000, just like the logitech deal? lol

    • +5

Doubt it.. As this requires an instore purchase. Some OzB members seem unwilling to move from their comfy seats to score a bargain. =]

      • Just need to find a home delivery supermarket service…

        • Most do offer this service. CRAP!

      • speaking of comfy seats, mine doesn't seem good enough to prevent me venturing out and buying stuff. A seat bargain would be nice.

    • Haha we are lazy bunch :P So these can't be redeemed at Event Cinemas (BC&C)? They just say movie tickets and not a movie theatre in particular. Not everyone has a Village cinemas locally.

    • Fair bit of effort involved, buy tacos, mail in form.

Considering this started on 7/02/11 if you go buy tacos today you should get tickets.

      • Hope so, I sent my receipt in today!

  • Anyone know if it's all states and all cinemas, ie Event, Village, Hoyts, etc?

  • Ok, so I just filled out the online form and it said Congratulations…now send us the receipt.

Do you think it is safe to assume that once 5,000 forms have been submitted, they would close the ability to fill out the form?

    • It started 7/02/11 (it's in the T & Cs) so I think it's safe to assume they've still got tickets.

now you know where all those busted racehorses ended up :P

      • +2

Damn. I knew their 'chunky' canned mexican mix tasted way too good….

        • Just as long as people don't see this deal and 'hoof' it down to their local supermarket to 'paw' through the mexican food section!

  • on the edge loyalty website they say "Hollywood Movie Money™ certificates are accepted just about everywhere. So, no matter where your customers are, we’re there, too" - I think I had one of these before for the eat pray love lean cuisine deal - and could use it at my local event (greater union) cinema in NSW. just sent away for my 3 per household.

  • Thanks Just went online and it said I qualify…
    Thank you for the post..

  • When will I receive my tickets?

  • +1

Just got my ticket via a link to a PDF file in my email.

    Expires 16/03/2011

    Not valid Sat after 5pm.

Valid to a value of $36.

    Not valid for Gold Class.

Have to pay extra for Vmax or 3D.

    • Me too, expiring March 16.

It's valid at Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Event Cinemas and Village. AKA, not valid at Hoyts. It's a customised Hollywood Movie Money voucher.

Sent in the slip on Monday, so fairly impressed with the turnaround time.

    • Have you guys used your tickets yet? I just went to print mine because I remembered that it was expiring soon and noticed that the expiration date now says JUNE 15th…??? Anyone else notice this? How can they change they date? Guess it's too technologically advanced for me! Certainly not complaining!

  • got mine too!

  • me too :) Now what to see!
