I just seriously failed as an Ozbargainer…I went to buy some Red Balloon gift cards thinking that I could avoid the credit card fees (and get 3 Amex points per dollar) for a experience I was going to buy anyway - however, the codes above are removed when you use a gift card.
"Promo code XRB17REST30 was removed. This voucher requires a minimum cash order value of $129."
I think the key word there is "cash". Don't be like me and try and use a gift card. I have no idea if the other options (apart from credit/debit card) are valid for use with the codes.
I think I've just ended up with $250 worth of gift cards for Christmas and birthday presents… (I wish I'd bought them in $50 denominations instead!)
