Refurb Lenovo IdeaPad 320s - 13.3" FHD/i5-8250U/8GB Ram/256GB Nvme SSD $559.20 Free Delivery & 1 Yr Warranty @ GraysOnline eBay

PARKA

This is my first post after being a lurker for about a year. I found this deal in the Ebay plus sale for $591.75 but now it's cheaper as Grays has lowered their price. I am typing on this laptop right now and all I can say about Graysonline refurbishing is that it is truly superb. I got the laptop in a generic box with plastic covering and when I opened it, the laptop looked brand new with little signs of use. The only signs of use I could spot, were the slightly dirty rubber pads at the base. This laptop is very light at 1.2kg and suits my needs at a very cheap price. Note that this laptop was only released mid last year, so it shouldn't be that damaged even with Grays refurbishing.
Just saying, I am not sock puppeting. I know that Graysonline refurbishing is truly the worse and is very risky but at the price I took the risk and got rewarded. Even if you get unlucky, you can still refund it but the process is very slow (from reading from various reviews).
Anyways, here are the specs.

Worth mentioning that for whatever reason Lenovo NVMe drives feel slower than others. Slower boot times and Windows just feels sluggish.

    Besides that, great bargain.

    • If anyone is wondering what the SSD model and brand is. It is the intel ssdpekkw256g7. Here is a link to the specs,https://ark.intel.com/products/94921/Intel-SSD-600p-Series-256GB-M_2-80mm-PCIe-3_0-x4-3D1-TLC. It has about the same speed as Samsung 850 Evo.

Interesting that you mention that, I can't even tell the difference between NVMe and SATA drives in day-to-day use.

      • Yeh. Me too after switching from Sata ssd to nvme m.2.

      • You're doing something wrong.

Paid $900 for this at the start of the year and I'm very happy with it, great bargain at this price

  • So not touch screen, right?

    • Yeh it isn't touch screen, just anti-glare but personally I don't like touchscreen as it leaves fingerprints on the screen. The anti-glare gives it a clean finish.

I haven't personally had any issues with greys refurbs when wanting to send back. I've returned 3 in total - one wrong spec two others due to niggly issues - and refunds have been pretty timely (within a week of return). They even arrange for postage if required.

Would highly recommend especially if they have the config you are after.

    • The sale says “buyer pays return postage”, will they pay returns if it has a fault?

      For future reference

      • There's also PayPal refunded returns up to 8 times a year. Although eBay is going to drop PayPal

  • I think the bottom half of the case is plastic, but these are great specs for the price.

Yeh the ideapad 320s has metal top but plastic bottom. Although they are different materials, the mineral gray finish makes both look the same.

  • Is this hackintosh compatible?

  • Would this be capable of Basic Video Editing?

    • Can you give me an example? How basic?

      • +1

Just small projects, like family and travel maybe 10 minutes! Sorry Kevin I am not video editing literate! haha but i appreciate your help

        • Yeh this will do fine for those kinds for projects. The 4 core cpu and 8gb of ram bundled with a 1080p screen will suffice for your needs.

        • @Kevin6300:

Thank You :) One of the images on the ebay ad shows that it has a DVD drive. Would this be the case do you think? or a case of loading incorrect stock product images?

        • @Kevin6300: if will rendering your video at HD will be very good for full HD maybe will take little longer but no more than half hour. Which software are you going to use? And which pc have you got now to do it?

        • +1

@RWONG: Yeh the stock photo is wrong and is most likely for the 15.6 inch model. It only has what is stated in the specs.

        • @Femelo: Sorry but the first part of your question is phrased weirdly but I will answer your second part. I use premier pro and after effects. The pc I use is the one that is listed on this site, the ideapad 320s.

        • @RWONG: There is only 1 left in stock. If you want to buy it make your choice quickly or else it will be gone before you know it.

  • Damm.. i had been searching for a descent 13 in laptop for whole week and i missed it. Any chance of this deal coming back..?

    • Probably not this specific model, but you should start seeing some 8th gen refurbs coming through.

      • This was an 8th Gen model, i5-8250U

        • My bad, that should read 'some more 8th gen refurbs'!

    • Yeh, that's pretty unlucky man. These were here for a whole week until I posted it. Then it was gone like the wind xc.

      • I need to gift a laptop by early next week . Hopefully something comes by then!
