Apparently, my .edu email has stopped working. Don't suppose anyone can help me out with a Unidays coupon code for Catch? Also, there are about 6 to 7 catch gift cards in $100 denominations at the auspost in Burwood One Shopping Centre.

  • Do you think Aus Post website will restock these before deal expires?

    • Not too sure myself. It’s possible. Hope they do.

  • Anyone have a spare UniDays code? Thanks

  • Australia post in Martin place has 6 or so $50 vouchers left.

Switch buyers be aware: Unidays code stopped working for switch console, accesories and games since this afternoon (code still working for ps4 etc. just not nintendo products). Contacted Catch coutomer support said I need to contact Unidays, not their problem, then asked me to watch T&C carefully without trying to resolve my problems or give any explanations, guess I wasted money on Clubcatch.
PS: can you guys verify my saying? I tried multiple accounts and no luck.

    • Same thing here :( had to wait for gift cards to activate, and now unidays won't work

      • Ah damn, same! I was able to apply it this morning and was waiting for the catch gift acrd to be activated.

        Now it wont work! aaaah

    • The same thing happened to me. :( I was trying to get the zelda game with the unidays coupon and it's not working. The coupon code gets accepted but there is no change in price. Not sure if there is a way to resolve this or if it is them being clever.

    • Update:

      Thanks for contacting UNiDAYS.

Retailers can change the exclusions within their discounts at any time. If the discount is no longer working on Nintendo items but is working on other products it is likely that Nintendo is no longer included in the discount.

    • Yep, just found out as well the hard way. The sneaky thing is the discount applied on the console itself, which shouldn't work in the first place if the discount code is no longer valid on Nintendo products. I feel kinda shafted right now abt this.

    • Damn, I got in just in time. 10% unidays plus 15% auspost gift cards. Switch came to 318$ incl slow postage.

  • Completely screwed us all over. So angry at the moment

    • I am contacting a Catch customer rep right now, who is keen in figuring out what is happening. I will keep you guys updated.

      • Thanks, I would like to know what they say.

        • Going through other Catch products and it's not just Nintendo. NERF 12 Elite Dart Refill Pack doesn't work either but other Nerf products work. So weird.

Ok. So I have just finished my conversation with a customer rep. She has tried to apply the unidays code that I have provided to the cart on her end, still showing no discount. So, she escalates this problem to her team to find out what happened. The switch is from Catch, not from other marketplace seller, so this is not the case that some seller trying to disable the discount option or something like that. She will reply me in 24 hours and 48 max. Based on other comment, it appears that switch is not the only product being affected. Let's hope it is just some glitch.

      • Thanks for the help. Really hope that they fix this. Already bought the giftcards and it kind of spoils buying a switch when you know you're getting ripped off. Still a decent price even without 10% discount, but defs would have waited till black friday or some other sale if I knew it wasn't included.

      • Any updates from the support at catch? :/

        • They got back to me and said Nintendo and Apple products are excluded per their terms and conditions. Looked at unidays doesn't mention anything about Nintendo

        • Yea no mention of Nintendo. I sent a screenshot to a rep, awaiting their reply.

        • @mrnacho:
Received reply from a Catch customer rep

          "Thanks for your patience.

I have been advised that the Unidays Code does not apply for Nintendo, Apple and Marketplace products. "

So, yeah. Guys, the unidays code deosn't work for Nintendo Switch anymore :(

        • Just called the Catch helpline, they said its an ongoing issue since the Unidays code should work with the Switch. Said it should be resolved by tomorrow. Not sure which story to believe :/

        • @SeptrionalWelkin: i want to believe this one! Fingers crossed.

  • Tough luck. Someone must have caught on to good Nintendo deals.

UniDays have changed their T&C and excluded Nintendo products.

Discount is valid for UNiDAYS verified members and is available online only at https://www.catch.com.au. Excludes all Marketplace, Apple and Nintendo products, and delivery fees. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer including referral codes and promo codes. Prices are in AUD.

    • Oh man. :( I guess that's it.

      • Anyone else think it's against Australian consumer protection laws to remove the discount and then update the terms and conditions a day later?

        • What did you lose though? It's a free coupon code.

The gift cards is a separate thing and unrelated to unidays.

    • Lol. I can 100% sure the rule wasn't like this in yesterday evening when I contacted the customer rep. No wonder they have no clue why the code wasn't working. Guess they just changed it today. That's bad practice actually.

      • +1

yeah definitely was not in their T&C yesterday when I checked. Checked again to day to see that they have updated it. Definitely not shopping at Catch again.

        • Same. This afternoon check T&C and it wasn't there, they respond to my email I sent yesterday saying it is in their terms and conditions and to read carefully. Stuck with $500 worth of gift cards so just bought Switch+MK8 and Kirby Triple deluxe instead as now I wasn't able to get breath of the wild. If the contents don't come in absolute pristine condition I will be beyond furious.

        • I managed to get a 10% refund from a Catch customer service rep after some persistence and ozbargain professionalism on my part. She will be refunding me the 10% by PayPal. I highly suggest you guys try doing the same if you purchased it before the terms and conditions were updated.

        • Same. They gave me 10% back in store credit.

  • +1

It says sale goes till 26 August but I went into two Australia post today and they said the cars isn't scanning on sale anymore so it must have ended.

Damn I wanted to buy 5x $100 catch gift cards. If anyone want to off load any im looking to buy hopefully for the 15% off. I'm based in wentworth point and drive towards parra area for work. Otherwise I'll get the 10% off at target.

    • I've got 6 $50 cards for Catch, bought too many before realizing that there was a 5 card limit for Catch. I am based in Melbourne
