$291 for Brisbane on those dates. Not bad.

Did the Sydney-Uluru early last year.

Beautiful flight over the centre in the vicinity of Lake Eyre…

Plenty of $109 flights each way around that time, which is what their fares were 1-2 years ago as well, at least for direct.

Uluru Ayers Rock to Brisbane – Wednesday 12 September 2018 $99

Only dates I could find at $99.

Yulara is boring. Overpriced and nothing to do.

    • I don't think you go to that part of the world for human civilisation. But I will agree it is overpriced.

    • oh no we r going in nov 2nights 3 days. what do u suggest? it's very expensive but oh well…thinking of camping so we can afford the activities. what about a long day trip to kings canyon? I think should be enough to do for just 1.5 days.

      You can climb the rock…

      • The climb is usually closed

          Just jump the fence.

  • Can't find any for Sydney :( (in September)

  • All - there are several things to consider before deciding to climb it - I'll leave the ethical side of it up to you (I'd like to climb it but idk if I will - tough decision). The climb is to be banned September next year. Best time to go to uluru in general is apparently may-september as it's hot af there. Climb is not allowed currently if temperature reaches 36c and is not allowed december-feb regardless. Theres also rules regarding wind speed and likelihood of rain. I reckon September would be a better time than November imo.

    • Not a tough decision. Vast majority of people make the right choice when enjoying the privilege of visiting the place.

I climbed it as a kid and it was amazing. Everyone should get to experience it.
