    Shipping to Vic :$17

  • Funny, I just got this a few days ago from MSY for $248… exact same model!

    • card + shipping = 236

      just want your opinion

would it be better to buy it from MSY and pay the extra $12 and not have to worry (much) about the warranty since you can just head to your local MSY or order from Mwave and risk the possibility or shipping damage just to save $12?

      • you can pick it up from Mwave and drop it off in case of warranty issues

lol not sure warranty from MSY gives me 'peace of mind'

      • Shipping to WA made it $238.91

Edit: Also this will help with piece of mind "All Toll IPEC Deliveries Include Insurance"

Update: Was just about to buy this until I got to the payment page and noticed that they offload the surcharge on to the buyer if they use paypal or credit card, stuff that.

  • Damn how come the 6000 series cards are so cheap? I'm looking for a 2nd Hd5850 for crossfire but they are still fairly expensive.

    • Could be something to do with the dollar? who knows? intel 775 quads and dual cores still go for a bit compared to i5/i7. imo buy a second hand 5850 for similar performance.

      • Not 1 second hand 5850 on ebay atm >.<

Well there is 1 but it's listed at $200…

    • Because the GTX560 Ti OC's are retailing for $299 and they outperform the HD6870 and is pretty much on par with the HD6950 so I'd say ATI have now dropped their pricing because of this.

  • Anyone know a good deal on a low-end video card with a gig of RAM? I just need it to get the textures up off the hard drive.

    • Better off just going to somewhere like Whirlpool and providing some more detail of what you need the GFX card for….

      • World of Warcraft. My 6600GT SLI-on-a-card doesn't cut it anymore.

        • Anything above a 8800gt/4850 will work. 5770 is pretty solid or check ebay for a 260/275.

Edit: doesn't have to be the 1GB versions, 512mb+ will still own it.

        • Yeah I have a HD5770, good and reliable card that isnt too power hungry. They are going for around $100 on eBay. Personally though I like the look of the new GTX560 Ti an will be upgrading soon hopefully, but that would be overkil for WoW!

    • MSY clearance Powercolor ATI 5750 $89.00.
I bought one yesterday from Adelaide CBD store.
I am not so sure about other states/stores.
Give them a call and ask. They may have other ATI cards on sale as well.

      • I have a local place that'll do a GT 220 1GB for $88. I'm keeping an eye out for something being cleared out in the $50-$65 range.

  • Mwave's Shippings always too expensive for me
