      Easy to installed.
      Installation Steps:
      1. Turn the lamp cover counterclockwise
      2. Compare the position of the lamp body on the wall surface and make a punch mark (position of two communicating holes)
      3. Then use the impact drill to punch holes and place the expansion tube
      4. Wiring: Use a screwdriver to unscrew the junction box. There are three wiring ports inside, which are live wire, neutral wire and earth wire. The earth wire must be connected to the earth wire ports. If there is no earth wire, it will not be used. The remaining live wire and neutral wires can be connected at Arbitrary two wiring ports casually.
      5. Align the lamp body before punching the position of the expansion tube, and use the impact drill to drive the screw into it.
      6. Finally, fix the lamp cover clockwise and turn on the light to check.

        Don't do this!

        1. If anything bad happens, you will have lots of trouble with the insurance company.
        2. It is against the law here in Australia to do the wiring by yourself. (I knew it's not hard for most people)

    The range for my sensor light is 2 feet max. Not very effective for a hall light.

    So totally not suitable as a ceiling light !
    It has a small sticker on the back, and the light needs to be removed to recharge with USB.

          Yes "2 August" is close….but only if that date is adhered too, seen too many of these "preorders" extended and that worries me.

          There are 4 or 5 items grouped in this offer and no reply has specifically stated the Xiaomi Yeelight LED Infrared Body Motion Sensor Night Light Smart USB Rechargeable Magnetic Lamp is directly available….it may be but danged if I know how.

          See nfr's comment just added, this IS the problem with the ceiling light and the Yeelight and that problem needs addressing concisely and directly IMO.

          happyjoyjoy007 further down also comments "preorder" so there is a definite disconnect with this item.

    How do you recharge the night light if you stick it to the wall? Do you have to use a portable battery or something?

      There is a magnetised metal disc which the night light attaches to then you attach the disc to the wall. The night night pops off the magnetised disc for recharging at your pc or wall plug etc. The metal disc stays on the wall.
