  Anyone know if this is actually the global version? Or just the Chinese version with language packs and Google Play installed prior to sending?

  Global version of the X6 is the 6.1 Plus, which only launched a couple of weeks ago and runs Android One. In China it's called the X6 and there shouldn't really be a "Global" version of it, but it has been out since May.

      From past experience, this is what Chinese sellers do. Because it's not legal to sell phones with Google play on China, so to make a "global" version they rip open the box.

      Anyway, seems you're right and I found this instead https://www.eglobalcentralau.com/nokia-6-1-plus-4gb-64gb-dua… - not much more, 64gb storage and assured android one.

  better better to bet the global/ australian version then for $330 from hn or jb ….local warranty, on the shelf , australian charger only down side is australian model is 3gb ram not 4gb …..seems dumb when they have a 4 gb global model.

  would have expected coolicool to have a deal on the global model with 4gb ram band 28 and nfc ……one model 6 to rule them all.

      almost need to quote sku rather than a model number.

      i know one of the model 6 came with 4gb ram, dual sim, band 28, nfc and had global android one so play store and OTA updates…. is that the 6, 6.1, 6.1+ or 6 (2018) and what is the sku ?
