    i know this is expired but, is this worth having in my x1 carbon microsd card slot as a ""permanent"" expansion storage for files or am i better off getting something else

      I put a 128gb microsd card in my E580 (from recent OzB/eBay) deal for this exact purpose. Not the fastest but works well as long as it's not frequent read/write data that might burn out the card. I even plan on putting small piece of tape over the slot to prevent accidental ejection.

      Yeah it did exist. Unfortunately ran out of stock quickly. Not sure how many were sold (I got one..).

    Never ever buy microsd cards on eBay. Most of them are fake/counterfeit.

      Not true. Maybe a higher risk buying cheap from overseas but with eBay gaurentees and paypal protections, what's to worry about?
      I've brought plenty of SD cards from eBay Au, even recently picked up a Samsung 128GB from the last deal. All cards I've purchased get put through a card checker and confirm the correct size and speed as my cards from a local store

      i just bought mine from this seller a day before yesterday. And i will let you know if it comes as a genuine on sd insight app test when i will receive it.
