        Hey Mate,

        For the O2, there are no caps on the Bundle 2.
        For the Bundle 3 its capped at 10GB within the EU, the rest of the 10GB are to be sued in the UK.

          The Bundle 3 is a single sim card, with 20GB available for use.

          P.s that the sim card is capped at 10GB within the EU, and the rest of the 10GB is available for use in the UK,

          I would recommend to use

          Paris (3GB)
          London (8-9GB)
          Finland (8GB)

          This formula for data usage is best used for the bundle 3, otherwise multiple bundle 2 would be better, in your case.

        Thanks but why is this done? Does it matter how we consume the bit & bytes?

        For me, the whole point of tethering is to tether to a laptop or at least a tablet.

        Both our phones will have data plans (Euro Sims) so tethering becomes a bit useless in this case.

          I have just confirmed with the O2, Phone actually means the sim card has to be used from a phone, however tethering is not affected so you guys can tether all devices.

      On my dual sim phone (Oneplus 6) it shows a connection with both sims active in the notification area. If you make a call it asks which sim you want to use. You can change data from sim to sim in the notification area.

      Spent an hour in a French Orange shop (equivalent to Telstra) trying to get a SIM after Telstra roaming did not work (they still charged me the $10 per day though). The Orange staff couldn't work out what to put for the address, so finally I think they put the shops address! That cost €30 (A$45) which included a setup cost. Cheaper if you do it online, but because of the address issue, you can't!

      I would highly recommend a sim that lets you hotspot to iPads/laptops though. Not sure how these ones know what kind of device is connected.

      Would these sims work in a Telstra 4G standalone wifi device (connects to the mobile network, then sends out a wifi signal)?

        This is the information we get directly from O2, it does not necessarily mean it can be the case.

        On our previous deal the 3 internet with legs, 3 specifically say it works on iPad only, but it also works on mobile devices.

        So as you claim, there can be a high chance they do not know what kind of device is connected and it can work perfectly.

        If you would like i can chase this up and confirm for you?

        Also These sims will work in Telstra 4G standalone WiFi devices.

    I can vouch for these guys too. Picked up 4 SIMs in May before we headed off for a month. Never missed a beat in UK and Denmark. Even used some of the free Wi-Fi hotspots. Also had the 'triple' promo, so $15 bucks covered everything we needed, including google maps. Couldn't download the O2 Android app (geo-blocked my google account), but you can search for an APK and it will work fine.

    Honestly I just came back from Europe and it was cheap and took me 10mins in a vodafone store to get a sim. I noticed all the telcos offering tons of discounts on sim only plans with big data packages that work all over europe. They even gave me a student discount.

    Is it sensible (necessary) to get registered - signature on delivery service or is there some code that is sent via email that would protect us if the SIM was stolen?

    Hey Champ.

    Some people prefer registered so that they can track their order.

    You do not have to worry if it gets lost, we will just send you a replacement

      Thanks for the quick reply (at this time of night, wherever you are… lol).

      If you can do replacement I will just get normal delivery, no rush, my wife and son aren't travelling to December.
