Buy 1 Get 1 Free ($29 Per Adult) @ Australia Zoo (North of Brisbane) till The End of March

180
14796

Buy 1 get 1 free, which brings the cost down to a more reasonable level.

For two tickets :

  • $29 per adult
  • $23 per student or pensioner
  • $17 per child

That makes this deal $80 or 46% cheaper than buying a family 4 pass.

Just print it out and take with you to redeem your free ticket, there is also a code at the bottom of the flyer, not sure if this can be used to purchase discounted tickets online.

EDIT : I called Australia Zoo, spoke to Jodie who confirmed that a print out of this voucher will be accepted,
if in doubt I would suggest you also call them.

Terms and Conditions :

Offer valid until 31/3/2011. Original voucher must be presented at Australia Zoo admissions on entry. Offer is valid for full paying tickets only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Offer is valid at Australia Zoo admissions only, tickets cannot be purchased online or through third party ticket resellers. Valid for one day admission tickets only.

Prices are subject to change. Voucher cannot be copied, transferred or resold and is not redeemable for cash. Excludes family passes. Maximum 4 persons per voucher.

Free ticket is for equal or lesser value of the ticket purchased. Free admission ticket can only be used on original purchase date.

  • Pretty limited audience. Coke Cola Staff seems to be the intended market of this flyer!

    Conditions :

    • Original voucher must be presented at Australia Zoo admissions on entry
    • Tickets cannot be purchased online or through third party ticket resellers
    • Voucher cannot be copied, transferred or resold
    • Free admission ticket can only be used on original purchase date

looks like you need the original voucher…

    • Wouldnt that voucher be the original voucher? I find pretty much all vouchers say that and they still accept even if theyre printed. I think what they meant by 'original' is that they wont accept 'modified' vouchers.

      • -2

i wouldn't want to travel all the way to Australia zoo to find out…

according to their conditions, it needs to be the original and not a copy

    • The voucher says "Print out this voucher and present at Australia Zoo" and it seems like an original voucher to me. Guess it may work.

        ???

    Also,

    ticket prices are :

    Adult Ticket $58.00
    Pensioner Ticket $46.00
    Student Ticket $46.00
    Child Ticket 3-14 years $34.00

Not sure were you got the $29 from ????

Australia zoo is a big rip off aimed at Japanese tourists…

    • To be fair the prices he is quoting is including the 50% off already!

      • -2

probably just badly phrased then, anyway, it appears you can't use this voucher anyway ??

    • OP mentioned the price for two tickets.

      • The price for 2 tickets (with the voucher, if accepted) would be $58.

        • Damn jv, you are the mega neg! ;)

The price for 2 tickets (read) per adult is $29

        • i only negged once…

anyway… if i re-read your statement, it can be read that way…

it is clearer stating that adult tickets are $58 and you can get a second entry of equal or lesser value free…

    • How is it a rip off? Is there zoo in the area that offers the same number of animals at a cheaper price? No.

You can't print out the voucher as each one has there unique code.

    • is that a guess that each voucher has a unique code or you have some additional inside info?

    • Did you receive the exact same voucher, but with a difference code?
Cause it could be the code they enter into the computer to apply this discount.

      • I think you're right; the code would be the code that staff use to put this through on their system.

  • I do not work for Coke, but this was passed on to us from a Coke rep, so this deal is available to anyone who has the flyer.

The conditions say the original voucher, but the flyer says to print it so I don't think that is an issue.

    • The conditions also say the voucher must not be copied or transferred to another person…

      • If in doubt call them :)

If you were going anyway, it could save you some money.

I do appreciate your scrutiny. For me Oz Bargain is about sharing, so hopefully someone gets benefit from it.

        • Agreed and gave you a + for that.

The first one to reach Australia Zoo with this voucher will benefit from this deal for sure. For others using the voucher after that, if it works please report back here so that others can avail of this good offer.

        • perhaps, but the deal should be confirmed before posting…

i'd hate to plan a side trip there based on this voucher only to find out they would not accept it and have to fork out another $100 !!!

I'm happy to remove my -ve if it is confirmed you can use it, but you would still be violating the conditions of the offer…

        • h4lcyon, I assume this voucher was passed on to you electronically right? If so, then this voucher isn't really 'copied', its the original one. Its not like you scanned a paper voucher (if you did, Im very impressed with the scanner). As for transferred to another person, it says at the top "awesome voucher for coca-cola staff", now Im pretty sure Coca-cola has more than 1 staff…

        • If so, then this voucher isn’t really ‘copied’

          Legally, it is copied…

Otherwise the entertainment industry wouldn't be able to sue you…

        • So… the only person who can use this voucher would be the coke Rep him/herself? Other people, including coke staffs , are not legally eligible to use this 'copied' voucher? despite this voucher being made for coke staffs…

        • @ Jlove

So… the only person who can use this voucher would be the coke Rep him/herself?

It would be valid for everyone that it was sent to from whoever is responsible for making this offer…

A friend who works at Telstra said it was emailed to all staff as "staff offer". I know this doesn't constitute it as being legit but I guess if you are really keen on the deal, you can call up Australia Zoo and just ask them!

  • I am 99.99% sure they will accept it at the gate if you print it out. People worry way too much.
If they don't, stamp your foot down and demand to speak to management…
Trust me, I've never ever had any problems using any discount vouchers I have, even ones I'm not totally entitled to - with common sense taken into account of course.

Been wanting to take my little girl there for awhile now +1 for reminding me…! ;)

    • I agree with scarlet. I am fairly certain that the voucher will be accepted too, if you can print out a nice colour copy of the voucher and present it at the gate.

      • Even if it was black and white, they'd probably still accept it. It does need to be printed, and surely you're not expected to print it off in colour.

    • People worry way too much.

If the entry prices weren't so high, it wouldn't matter as much, but these prices are ridiculously high…

      Adult Ticket $58.00
      Pensioner Ticket $46.00
      Student Ticket $46.00
      Child Ticket 3-14 years $34.00

Spoke to Jodie @ Australia Zoo, she said that a print out of the flyer will be accepted.

That's the best I can do to confirm the deal without going there myself.

Plus, the floods have probably had a big impact on their overseas tourists, so this is a way to get Australians though the door who would not normally go because of cost.

    • Beyond the call of duty - thank you

  • Am I seeing things right? They're still using an image of Steve Irwin what, 5 YEARS after his death?? Disgraceful. Anyway, what's the point of even going to the Zoo without Steve? Is his wife now wrestling the crocs on her own? I somehow doubt it…
