  • When will you be getting the XR342CKP in?

    • +1
      • Cheers for that!

      • JB Hifi list that monitor as a CK but quote 100Hz. Which is correct?

Are Acer ever going to fix their broken website so prospective customers can actually find monitors rather than just having galleries of photos for undefined monitors?

        • Yeah it's strange, same model name but different specs. Makes researching these monitors difficult.

  • Can you do a special on X34 and X34P please?

  • What colour gamut does it display? sRGB, Adobe RGB etc?

  • This review states this monitor is NOT FreeSync certified and is for business use only.

DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync 48-74Hz, 8-bit colour (NOT FreeSync certified – requires 35-75Hz or greater)

Suggests people go for the Predator series if FreeSync is what you are looking for.

Otherwise I reckon I would've bought this. New model coming out, so there's always good deals to be had like this. But not a true FreeSync monitor.

I nicked the specifications from this website:
      https://www.144hzmonitors.com/monitors/acer-xr342ck-high-cur…

Strange, perhaps at the time of review the Monitor firmware did not support freesync. I've also created a new product tag for it as it might not be a Predator range LCD.

      • Hmm… not sure bud.

Even the Acer website isn't clear.

If it was FreeSync certified you'd think they'd be advertising it everywhere. I think they are getting around it by Adaptive Sync or something? Anyway, just raising it as a query point for anyone interested.

        • You get different specs from their own material, support and sales. They had the 37.5" listed as 34" for years, and Amazon etc also copied the incorrect info in their listings. Q and C gets mixed in model codes as well.
