No 3G or Wifi and $199? Yea, I will pass.

IMHO the only thing it has going for it is the qwerty keyboard. but even that looks pretty fiddly.

When you can get the Huawei IDEOS Android phone for $129 @ crazy johns - with more memory included, capacitive touch screen, wifi, 3G/HSDPA, GPS etc… it makes this look far far far overpriced.

After going android, i'll never go back!!

  • I had this phone a couple of years ago. Great phone when it came out … but that was a long, long time ago now. No wifi, no 3G, no camera.

This is old tech, and you can get heaps better android phones for under this mark.

But I guess if you desperately want a blackberry, it might be amongst the cheapest. But I mean, come on, it's time to move on. Rim is old news, Android is the future.

Aren't all blackberries old news? I can't understand why anybody would want such a chumnky cumbersome device with a small screen, and heaps of tiny and impossible to use buttons? I suppose they are cool to somebody who's never used a touchscreen?

  • I'd rather get an E71 for $160~180 rather than this. That's if you want a business oriented phone with a QWERTY keyboard.

Otherwise the $199 is better spent on a Garmin A50.

  • Requires an (expensive) Blackberry Plan (this limits you to main carriers) to use the email/calendar/contacts sync, otherwise it's just an expensive, clunky phone.
