      • I admit I haven't checked the processing time when I was placing the order, but I think they might have changed it after many people bought this item. Anyway, I sent them a message early so let's see what they'll say.

  • I'm getting this error "Error, this promotion code has expired, for 217603901" has this deal finished?

    • Just checked and got the same error, have marked it expired.

  • mine shipped and the invoice says $19.37 AU..

  • +1

Did anyone receive their charger yet? Their tracking site is saying it arrived in Australia on the 7th of September, but haven't got anything yet.

    • I received mine today, here's what the tracking site says:

2018-09-08 15:07:05 GMTC, departed Transit country
2018-09-07 18:49:03 GMTC, arrived in transit country
2018-09-05 17:27:36 Hong Kong, departed Hong Kong Airport
————— 01:14:55 China, SHENZHEN, departed Sunyou Facility
2018-09-04 02:27:36 China, SHENZHEN, acceptance, Sent to AUSTRALIA
2018-09-01 18:47:16 Pre Alert to AUSTRALIA

      • Hmm! Mine was showing exactly the same dates on the tracking site too. I am in Adelaide, so hopefully mine will arrive in the next couple of days. Cheers

        • +1

I have the same dates too on my tracking (in fact the exact same time too). I am in Sydney and still waiting :(

        • +1

          @Catcher:

          I am exactly same too.

        • +1

@Catcher: Has anyone ever bought stuff from this seller? It's the first time I am dealing with them, and I don't feel that confident about them. If by the end of next week nothing turns up I'll start the PayPal refund process.

Edit: I have just done a quick Google search and the reviews are mixed: https://www.productreview.com.au/p/dresslily.html

        • It is first time I bought from DressLily. They seem to have had a few deals on ozbargain and a few people posted they received it. A few of my packages seem to be delayed, perhaps a Auspost back log. I am going to give DressLily the benefit of the doubt for another week too.

        • +1

Still haven't got it. Thought it was odd a few of us have exact time on tracking so curious what tracking number you have been given (maybe they just gave us all the same one lol). Mine is SY11911656325.

        • +1

@Catcher: No, my tracking number is different to yours. If nothing turns up in the next couple of days, until Friday, then I'll ask for a refund. This is ridiculous.

      • jason, I am curious, how come you received yours in under a month? Did you pay extra for an express delivery? Over 40 days and still nothing arrived here.

        • Nope, I didn't pay anything extra for delivery. I got it delivered to a Sydney post office.

Im in Melbourne and have not received it :(

    • +1

I'm in Sydney and have not received it …

      • +1

No one seems to have received it. I bought a lot of junk from China over the years and delivery never took this long. This is the first time I'm dealing with these folks and it will be the last.

        • +1

waited another week, still no show

          • +1

@fujay: I have contacted them and they expect me to wait until November 1 cuz "that's the deadline", despite the fact they said the estimated delivery time was up to 35 days initially. All of a sudden, it's 70 days now, double the original time. Stuff that! I am not waiting for 70 days for delivery. I should have checked feedbacks about this business online before I dealt with them. A lot of unhappy people with them on the net.

            • +1

@AussieDaddy: got the same reply, delivery deadline 1st November…
all up 2 and half month from order to delivery… speechless

  • +1

Yes, still haven’t received mine either. I couldn’t even track the package. The website was just unresponsive.

  • +1

Still don’t have mine. I’m ok with it taking a while but this is crazy.

    • I wonder if anybody has contacted the seller to find out what is going on? I haven't got mine either and am contemplating doing a paypal claim soon.

      • +2

I contacted them through their website and they said that the deadline is November 1. Yeah, you read that correctly, NOVEMBER 1. If I don't receive it by then I should contact them and they'll find me a solution. Screw that! I told them I will give them one more week and if it doesn't turn up after another week I'll lodge a complaint with PayPal. I am not waiting for a delivery for 70 days. I bought a lot of junk from Gearbest, AliExpress, and a host of other Chinese sellers through eBay, and not a single delivery ever took more than a month. These folks are dodgy as I read from a number of reviews that sometimes they sell stuff that isn't even in stock, and the result is a headache and months of back and forth with unhappy customers. Should have done my homework before I pulled the trigger on this one.

        • I am convinced it aint coming. I have placed two orders on Ebay and one on banggood, all from china shipped after 10 Sept and they have all arrived. And its not a isolated case of packaging going missing, all of ours could not go missing. So gave up and ordered a Lii-500 :) DressLily did have stock issues as they tried to offer me alternative products when I asked why it wasn't shipped yet, so not surprised that this is a bit dodgy.

          • +1

@Catcher: That makes sense. There is only one person who said they've received this charger here so far, and his arrived in less than a month. According to the phony tracking number they gave us, they all show the same date and time of the item departing from China to the "destination country", and from there to Australia, but it never arrived here. And the last date the package moved was almost a month ago. The person I was talking with through their website even tried to persuade me that the item might be in Australia and it might be stuck in a warehouse so I should contact my local post office. Just to give them the benefit of the doubt I called AusPost a couple of days ago and the person I was talking to tried the supplied tracking number on their international tracking system (probably a bigger, internal tracking system that AusPost uses) and they told me the tracking number doesn't even exist. These guys are really bad, and negative reviews mean almost nothing to them. Next week I'll ask PayPal to get my money back from them and I'll never deal with them again.

  • Still not here :(

    • Same here, still haven't received. Sydney based.

    • Yup, in the same boat.

  • Just received mine today, says it was posted out on the 1-9-18 on the package

    • So it took 40 days to deliver after it was posted? What postal service do they use in China? The Turtle Express?

  • Still no show, paypal ticket has been raised.

  • Mine hasn't arrived either.. Over 50 days since ordered

  • +1

Mine hasn't arrived either. I msged them but I'm going to contact Paypal… dodgey bastards.

  • Merged from Dresslily LiitoKala Lii No Show

Who else has ordered the the LiitoKala Lii Battery Charger back on August 20 and not had it turn up yet?

I raised a ticket and they simply said that they did send it and wait longer and also gave me a tracking number that DOESN'T work. I then went to Paypal and submitted a claim there and they replied that I should go to my local post office and complain and also wait until the end of the month.

What is the usual time limit on Paypal claims? I'm not sure if it's 30 days or 180 days? I think I will just demand the money back as I don't believe it's going to turn up and they are hoping I'll forget. What's everyone else's experience so far?

    • oh yeah! I don't think i got mine either.. Thanks for the heads up, will look into it

      • This is what my tracking shows.

2018-09-01 16:41:13 Pre Alert to AUSTRALIA

It looks like it departed china 8/09/2018 and no update since.

        • +1

My tracking is showing exactly the same dates as yours.

It's not looking promising - however the Paypal claim period is 180 days, so there's nothing to lose by waiting a while longer.

Certainly won't be dealing with them again, though, even if it does arrive.

          • @edwardcr: The response i got from them said up to 35 business days from dispatch, so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume a 5 day working week and hold off until 22/10 before I lodge a paypal claim.
EDIT: according to the comments on the deal posts they are claiming 1st November is the delivery deadline.. so i guess ill wait until then. May be wise to warn people on the next dresslily deal that comes up that delivery can take over 2 months. That's if we ever get the product.

            • +1

@Riczter: FWIW I've been having massive delays thanks to AU Customs on packages sent from China. Like they'll sit in customs in AU for weeks. It may have started when the GST crackdown started.

              • @Diji1: Hmm, good point, cheers for the heads-up

    • Didn't receive mine either. Raised a ticket with Dresslily but got a copy-paste response about checking the post office to see if it's arrived.

Will raise Paypal dispute tomorrow I guess.

    • Didn't receive mine either. Raised a ticket and got a response about checking the post office to see if it's arrived. Asked me to wait until 28th of October.

      • Yeah they asked me to wait until then too, but then I thought does the Paypal claim time run out then? I didn't want to risk it and just asked firmly for my money back. It's been more than a month, I really doubt it will turn up now.

    • When I ordered the cheap micro sd cards from this dress lily they took close to 2 months to turn up

    • Looks like a lot of people haven't received theirs. Have a gander at the most recent comments: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/397946?page=1#comment

      I haven't received mine either.

      • +2

A lot of people seem to not understand that shipping time is always business days :)

        • +1

So does the ship drop anchor suddenly at 5pm in the middle of the ocean Brad mate?

          • +1

@subywagon: This is how tiny packages with China Airmail have always worked. They load up crates and crates to be sent via ship or air to the destination. So they could sit in the processing facility for a couple of weeks until the 'Australia crate' is full.

So damn glad i cancelled my order with Dresslily on the 128GB microsd deal

    • +1

Mine just arrived today. It was shipped from Taipei and not Mainland China (not sure if that mattered)

      • They responded to me today basically saying they won't refund me until the end of the month if it doesn't arrive.

  • Just got a suprise delivery at work today(Melb) and turned out it was this.

  • Received mine today

  • Looks good if people are receiving them then. I'll hold out until the end of the month.

  • got paypal claim approved in my favour. still not received it.

  • +2

Mine arrived today, almost 2 months after I placed the order. The longest shipment ever.

  • Mine arrived today, had a couple of address stickers stuck on top of each other. It probably bounced around to ensure cheapest shipping, and therefore took so long.

  • Mine arrived today.

What's the go with the mode button ?

    • Taken from the review posted above

'Holding the button down will change current.
Short presses on the button will change battery type.
These selection can only be done before it starts charging.'

      • But choosing which charge current, do you go with the one closest to the battery's rating I wonder

        • +1

I charge my Eneloops at 1/2 the capacity of the battery so 1000mA for AA
          & 500mA for AAA.

'The reason you charge in the 0.5 - 1.0C range is to make sure the charger gets a strong end of charge termination signal from the cell. When you charge at lower rates, you present the charger with a weaker signal. If the charger misses the termination signal, you overcharge the cell.

          Overcharging = damage.

If you want to charge at a slow rate, charge at 0.1C for 16 hours. Overcharging at 0.1C is usually not much of a problem, however there have been some reports that the new low self discharge batteries are sensitive to any overcharging. If you want to do this, you may want to hedge your bet and set the timer for 14 - 15 hours when charging at 0.1C with these cells.'

          Quoted from here

Another thread on the topic. Just google charge rates for Eneloops and you will get plenty of info.

  • Wow 2 months for delivery, can't believe it came after all that time!!

  • Got mine today too, really took a while.

  • Mine arrived today too.

  • I didn't receive mine yet.
