  • Cr#p. Bought one of those a couple of weeks ago for $10.
Have not had the chance to use it.
Is there something wrong with them? I think the original price was around $40.

    • +1

probably clearing stock since wasnt as popular as first thought

    • +1

Hahaha they lost all novelty when YouTube videos went viral of people trying to inflate these. They're a nightmare and make anyone look like an idiot 😂

      • I've seen people using them at the beach in Europe. Looked pretty straight fwd. Maybe different brand.

    • +1

I got one for the same price, pretty much need a leaf blower to help inflate it and then it's horribly unstable. Fun for the kids to jump on until it breaks

  • Do they have click and collect?

    • +1

      No.
They do have call and reserve.
(Give them a call and they will reserve it for you.)

    • Only delivery from what i can see

  • +2

    Good find!

  • +2

Put in title + delivery for online $9.99. No C&C. great deal anyway

  • $15 total for 5 of these. They can be incredibly difficult to inflate but are comfy. Tempting

    • How do you inflate them best?

      • +1

Just hold the mouth open and run forward, scoop it upwards and quickly close. Much easier on a windy day.

        • I see thanks. Seems like best for outdoor use. Was thinking of buying for my small studio unit lol. Guess it won’t work

        • +1

@Jared17: It would work but there are much better options out there. These are for an outdoor concert or beach.

        • @Hinee:

for this price? Thinking of using the fan to get air in. Not sure if it works

        • +1

@Jared17: A fan should work, you'll figure it out man. If you see on the second pic in the ad where she is rolling it down… if you don't have enough air inside you can keep rolling until it is condensed enough for your comfort.

        • @Hinee: just youtube it. It's easier than I expected when you know the technique. Can be done inside

  • They are good as gifts. Got 6 in blue and 6 in red to make it worth the postage. None in Belrose area in store.

  • no stock in brookvale

  • +1

looks like I am going to be known as "Air Bed Dude" amongst my friends for some time. Bought one and some extra for gifts, spreading the shipment cost.

  • -1

Thanks bought 6 so equates to $2 each

    great for those family BBQs

    • +4

      $2.67 each

  • +6

Make sure you dont use these in the pool as you fall through with your legs caught above the water. You will drown.

    • +2

They can burst and completely envelope a person in the fabric under water. I saw it on TV. Mine won't be going anywhere near water.

  • I heard these are very hard to inflate…

  • +2

Target selling this for $5 in stores

    • Are they the same as the Target ones?

    • Then it's not worth getting it online, since they charge $10 for shipping

  • +1

They only reserve for 24hrs and close at 5:30 sucks…..

  • +3

    Red and Blue OOS (online)

  • They also have the 'deluxe' for $1 which is longer.

Bought 6 with delivery $16, very happy with that.

I've had few of them, they are easy to inflate when you know what you are doing, always face the wind.
Careful, they puncture easily like dry grass. I suggest a cloth or something under them.

  • +1

also, add a battery powered light inside for extra 'coolness'

  • All sold out even deluxe

  • -5

    Woohoo, bought 20.

  • +1

If you can't pickup ie no anaconda near you, I bought almost the same thing from target last week for $5

  • I cannot find this item is Target's website. What it is called there? Thanks.

  • How are people struggling to inflate these, takes about 30 seconds to inflate, roll and clip closed even without any wind.

  • If these have the plastic bag inside them as an inner tube like the kmart or target one ? than dont bother. the bag weighs it down when you try to inflate it if you dont inflate it right the bag slides inside the chair making it impossible to inflate. double sided tape can help keep the plastic in place … but its more work than this is worth

  • +1

Best way to inflate - Use the Ozito blower.

  • Just called Lidcombe store. No stock left.

The staff member looked up stock around Sydney region and could only see the Rockdale store with stock, but mentioned that could include items already on reserve.

  • It had been $1 in Cannington store since 6 months ago and sold out caused a guy bought 50 of them . I Think I saw the guy selling it in Joondalup shopping centre few months back .

  • Still have >20 stocks in lidcombe shopping centre. Just got 4 blue there :)

    • Where about is the stock located (in that Lidcombe store)? Other poster above said no more stock there.

  • +1

Just called Geelong store and appently 1 customer bought all 62 this morning.

    • Probably gonna resell on eBay

  • Box Hill south had 1 left after I bought a few.

  • Bought 6 in Launceston, there's around 10 left as of 3pm today.

  • All stock on the Gold Coast is gone.

  • Got the last 2 at Noarlunga. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks! I bought 8 in Boxhill store

  • +1

Now everyone can afford to be an environmental terrorist!

  • I threw my one of these out, total disappointment in the product, don't bother.

  • +2

I bought some for travelling. When I was in Abudabi airport a few weeks ago we had a 8 hour layover.
Terrible place for a layover. Typically super freezing, so make sure you bring the blanket from your Etihad flight.
Super hard to sleep and get comfortable. They have lie down benches but they are fixed in place and terrible for sleep.
Then the prayer comes over the loud speaker about 4am. So it's hard for layovers.

Then I walk to the toilet and there is this guy in the corridor outside a gate and sleeping on one. So intelligent.
More valuable for long haul, layover flights than anything else.

    • -1

is that guy used it as sleeping bag?

  • I was given one as a gift… unusable junk… took up cupboard space… eventually just binned it.

  • Has anyone tried to inflate it (without any air pump or fan)? I believe the Anaconda product has narrow opening and a plastic bag (compared to the video) which makes it relatively difficult to inflate. May be need to try again when it is windy. :)
