UPDATE: An even better alternative is to price match at David Jones and use 10% David Jones eGift Card via Entertainment Book. Credit to 99altezza

This has been mentioned in forums a few times but never officially posted. But today after I successfully bought one after price matching in David Jones (to make use of their interest free offer), I am convinced this deal is obtainable to all. The price on its own is already a bargain as JB Hifi generally only offer 10% off and for a limited period. This seems like a standard pricing on their website.

Combine it with pricematch at OfficeWorks or David Jones using 10% eGift Card to sweeten the deal even more.

  If anyone wants one. with the code Pixel comes down to like $10 more the price matching at officeworks + $50 cash back via cashrewards until 12pm tonight

  Tried to get OW to price match but they were not able to because they have 0 stock of the Silver only space grey, and ifrog only has stock of the silver -_- and since they are not matching OW will not price match. Just to be clear, OW is completely out of Silver 256gb 15 inch MBP 2018, cant even order them in as they don't have an ETA

    Just adding on to this

    Got them to price match OW which has it at $3149 (and since the pre discount price was $3661) they gave me a $150 ebay voucher !!

    Effectively bringing the price down to $2712 (after the $50 cash back from cashrewards as well, or before $2762)

        No it was through eBay price match not all phones.

        It’s crazy now I think about it got the 2018 15 inch brand new for cheaper than the 2017 Apple refurb.

  I went to the Perth city cbd David Jones today to ask them to price match.
  They said they would but the MacBook 15 inch here Apple MBP 15" 2.6GHZ I7/16GB/512GB/SPACEGR Space Grey(ifrog.com.au) or Silver(ifrog.com.au)$3587.77 was the old 2017 model and not 2018?

    Have them compare the model number MR942X/A… even on their website its the 2018 model (6 core 8th gen Intel processor)

    Probably buy from this folks at iFrog. Their CTO pricing is pretty good it seemed and probably the only place you can get it for less than RRP

  Just for those still looking, I price matched the 15" MBP base model at officeworks today (FiveDock in Sydney) with no issues. Got it down to $2910! So if you're still looking, you should be good to go.
