  how dodgy (or not) is scoot? these budget carriers always worry me. any feedback anyone?

    Scoot is owned by Singapore Airlines - so they're not too bad. No frills - so you have to buy your food/drinks. You have to pay to get seat upgrades or to sit in a specific section (Quiet Zones where no families with travelling infants can be allocated), and pay for check-in baggage.

    Otherwise, they're quite alright, IMHO.
