      I have that $9 38cm Kmart clock in real wood surround. There are few designs.
      Ticking is a bit loud. Add some foam between clock mechanism & walk to reduce noise.

      Added a $1 USB light at top - easy to read time at night & acts as night light.

      I bought this clock and changed its Quartz tick-tock machine with a quite movement machine ($3 from AliExpress) and it works a treat. Very easy to do, just snaps open and quick process to replace the machine.

    The going rate for this is actually usually around $160. So it is a bargain.
    I actually have a Karlsson clock, because I am very picky for things I need to look at constantly, and I actually think most Karlsson clocks looks really great. But this one…. meh… and not sure of the use for a clock this large.

    But fact is, this is the cheapest price for this model, and about 25% below the usual price (and these things don't go on special often - I spend months finding my perfect wall clock). So it's a bargain.

    I've seen a clock that resembles this perfectly somewhat recently, and I feel it was Target… And around $35. Definitely looked the same, black on black with metal trim.

    Anyone seriously willing to blow that much money on a very simple clock that doesn't seem to have any special or reputable timekeeping?
