wow! amazing deal! Been watching these for a while now and that is by far the best offer I have seen. Waiting for an RBK50 though…

  • Can these be used to extend the range of an RBK50 setup?

Only the RBW30 (AC2200 Wall Plug Satellite) can be used as a satellite to extend an existing Orbi set-up. The RBR40 (Orbi AC2200 Router) can not be used as a satellite.

      • Thanks for the info. Looks like Orbi is not as flexible as Google Wifi. I am also using RBK50 currently.

  • Can the router become another satellite if I got 2 sets?

  • From my quick google (for my own benefit as well)… You can use the satellite (RBW30) to add on to an existing router setup, however you can only use the RBR40 (the included router) in access point mode. It won't connect as another satellite. Still not bad because the RBW30 a(the included wall plug satellite) is currently $209 on it's own on Kogan.

  • I ended up picking one of these up from JB HiFi for $180 (didn't want to wait for it to arrive and wasn't sure if its right size so wanted easy returns). It's all set up now and I can't believe the improvement in my internet! Amazing!
