      Just asking if it's too much for them to give us what they already have done for UK/USA or even AU in the past (18% off sitewide). Is that unreasonable?

        Yes, I personally think it's unreasonable to expect more than 10% off every time a sitewide deal is posted.

        @Lorindor: I don't get what you are on about with this "all the time" business - this is the first time I have made this comment. If eBay actually did a good sitewide promo (which only needs to last a few days) it would be much better than all these different offers.
        We've done it before, UK/USA have done it many times. Why do we get slapped with the Aussie tax + miss out on good promotions??

        This is commented by multiple people every time an eBay deal is posted, so unfortunately you've been put in that group.

        We've done it before, UK/USA have done it many times.

        Your expectations are too high, it doesn't matter what the percentage is or how frequent they make it, because someone will always complain that it's not enough.

        @Lorindor: oh well it's to eBay's detriment. These 5% off sitewide codes and "targeted" 10% off codes aren't exactly all that much.

        But then again they probably realise over here that Amazon isn't exactly doing much either so they can sit on it for now.

        I don't see it being exactly harmful to eBay's existence, they will always be dominate in the online marketplace and if anything, these 5-10% off sales are contributing to that.
