You shouldn't be voting on your own deals. Here let me even the score.

      They can do 1100
      see below :)

  • Yeah, everyone has it for at least $1299 now it seems. Even David Jones, I'm sure JB will be back around to $1296 as well.

    I hate having to haggle.

      sounds like you're just SPAMMING…

I hope we don't see a flood of other Reps just posting here stating that price is "negotiable"…

We want to see the BEST PRICES here, nothing less…

"We want to see the BEST PRICES here, nothing less"

        tru that!!

  • +4

you should be negotiable on a $1188 base rather than your now overpriced samsung!

  • +4

How about "negotiate" your best price here ??? Otherwise, no bargain…

  • I won't neg for bad timing (i.e. the cheaper post). I'll give them +1 for trying. I'm sure there's a whole team of phone answerers who will do whatever the other best prices are.

    Otherwise we'll neg muahahaahaha.

I always buy off the people who come up with the cheaper price first, not the ones that piggy back off someone elses price.

We have just changed our prices to reflect our negotiable philosophy.

    How does that work?
Your prices have always been negotiable.

To me this says you have increased your prices so when i come to negotiate i get a big discount.

If you have seen these models cheaper, or just want to negotiate please call us on 1300 980 399.

So this post is just an advertisement.

The TV is cheaper here and it included delivery

I just called up. Haggled the PS50C7000 down to 1100 :)

    • 50" for $1100, that sounds great!

      • Bing Lee give me this price and i'll buy one right now :)

    • do you have receipt?
I would love to buy it at this price but have some gift vouchers @ dj & hvn

  • What on earth is happening to this model? Price dive all of a sudden from so many stores

    • i want to know it, too!!!!!

    • Not sure why all of a sudden, but I remember a while back all plasmas over 32" were banned from sale in Europe. Possibly oversupply, so trying to flog the energy hogging beasts off in countries where they are still allowed.

  • 1300 numbers are horribly overpriced on mobiles…

    • Or 02 9781 3290 :)

SPAM not the cheapest and should be adde to previous post

  • +3

Bing I have to say that in my experience your online price matching service doesn't work so well.

Just after Xmas I tried to price match the $2380 price for the Samsung 55" Series 7 LCD and your online people could not do it.

I actually found that people in your stores offer better "negotiated deals" then your online people…

I'm surprised Bing Lee hasn't been banned already

    • +1

I've had good deals from them before. Got a Harmony 515 for $29 delivered - comparable to Logitechshop prices, although LTS don't sell the 515.

A few bad deals doesn't get you banned. Thats what neg votes are for, to hide them.

      • oh…right. I bought an egg tray for the fridge from them for $1..NO….I was kidding

      • Its not. BLs modus operandi works like this

        1. Post on OB
        2. Get stung by savvy users who find cheaper prices
        3. State their prices are "NEGOTIABLE"
        4. ???
        5. Profit
        • They have posted some good deals in the past. This deal looks too much like advertising.

  • Wow Bing Lee posting on OzBargain ?!

  • duplicate/spam

  • duplicate

  • not a bargain

  • Got the 63" for $2,299 with free delivery

  • hmmm, went to negotiate online….out-of-stock???

  • +2

I wanted to buy a washing machine. Found the best price in another retailers catalog and went to bing lee who told me they would not even meet their price.

I hate negotiating a price. Just tell us your best price otherwise I AM NOT INTERESTED.

  • +1

Negotiated prices are not bargains. Most stores will price match or beat other quotes. Plain old advertising with reps voting on their own deals.

  • +1

Yep many times mods have pointed out price matching is not a bargain… And the original price here is not a bargain either anymore.

    • Pobman

Thank you, your definition in this context raises and interesting point, this is very much like price matching. Given all the other comments as well I, have opened discussion with other mods to define this.

Although given the strength of the voting here, I think the message to Bing is very clear.

We like our deals defined. Negotiated deals are more suited to the forums for discussion, where we can share what we negotiated
