ADL to China from $363 Return: Beijing (PEK) and Shanghai (PVG) Are on Sale with China Southern, Sep-Nov, Mar-Apr @FS

230

We just found this stunner of a price. China Southern has unbelievable prices from Adelaide to Shanghai/Beijing at present, with a variety of dates available from SEP-NOV, and MAR-APR at least.

Skyteam alliance, but also codeshares with Qantas on flights.

Stopover in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

to anyone on the fence, beijing is probably the better choice for a first time tourist. see the great wall, then go to xi an and see the terracotta warriors, return to beijing and fly home

    • That was my debate a few months ago planning my trip tomorrow (turns out it'll be Tokyo instead), but the maglev train in Shanghai was really tipping the balance a bit ;)

      • the maglev ride is very short

        • I really like trains / planes ;) But yes. Next trip hopefully!

Beijing is full of scams, avoid. First time tourists better choose Shanghai instead.

      • yea but most are easy to avoid, e.g. tea house, paintings

The fact that everybody knows these sh*t but local government still allows them to exist is still beyond me.

@seriousquokka: same could be said about crime in any country

  • $410 return from Perth, still not bad,
