Even considering it's your first post, not including the price ANYWHERE is unforgivable…

  • that is cheap!

  • -2

    where is the price????!!!!!

    • first link

      • -4

i saw it. good price but not the cheapest.

        • So static ice is 69 this post is 59 so show us the cheapest pric then zhoufelix?

        • it's cheaper than ebay…

is this mouse any good ????

        • Even LogitechShop are NOT below this price of $59.96

And definitely not at the moment

        • +1

zhoufelix is right.. not the cheapest ever.

If you get this online it actually costs $64.91 due to the $4.95 'Handling Fee'

And Logitechshop have it for $49 delivered, but not in stock. I think this is left behind from their last big sale…

Point is you can get it for roughly $15 cheaper… this price from OW isn't AMAZING. It might be the best at the moment but isnt great overall…

    • Yes I got one like it very much (I use more than the M950)

  • Good price btw

  • +1

59.96 , please add that to the title

  • Good price!!

    FREE MOUSE yipppeeeee… :P

    edit :

    DAMN it's not free… :(

  • +1

if you get two, do they interfere with each other ???

    • +15

They breed like rabbits, best to get one.

      • +1

i had 2 male mouses but one killed the other
i had 2 females and they were alright together

so make sure you get the same coloured ones
        or else as mentioned above

They breed like rabbits, best to get one.

        • I had a female mouse and a male mouse and now I have a mini mouse for the netbook!

    • +3

I don't believe the 'unified' logitech devices interfere.

But I am still yet to master the 'wax on' / 'wax off' skills required to weild two mice

    • +1

Sometimes, out of curiosity. Not as much as a breeding pair (one wired and one wireless).

    • Thanks guys… i needed a good laugh… shame it's not Friday… :P

    • no they play pretty nice with each other, got a M905 and a Performance MX and have no issues.

      • der that's different breeds
of course, that's like us and aliens!!!(no, don't think about it)

  • Anybody can comment on this mouse vs the M705 Marathon mouse?
I like the colour on this one better, but M705 simply has amazing battery life…

  • Sorry people, price updated

    • Does OW no longer charge "handling fees" anymore ($4.95 or sth)?

      • no they still do… op doesnt mention it. DELIVERY is indeed free but its $4.95 'Handling Fee'.
Bit misleading actually when post says free shipping… hopefully op fixes that up

        • Well it is included in the price :)

        • It wasn't though.

For what it's worth, I bought this mouse (thanks to previous OzBargain deal), and absolutely love it. It's sleek and comfortable in the hand, has several handy features, and performance is great.

Oh - and I've been using for roughly 25 days, 8hrs per day, and battery is still chugging along.

    • Seems you have been lucky, I don't think I have one pair of batteries last even that long.

I find battery life to be the only problem with this mouse.

I used to have the vx nano, went through a couple over a few years, and only ever changed the batteries about 2 times, maybe 3 times a year max.

This one, I have to change 2 new ones about every 2 weeks. If I just use one it lasts half that time. Batteries I have used are the two that came with it, and Duracell.

This is the second one I have had, and exactly the same issue for both. :S

  • the m905 is regularly on special, see http://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/m905. i got the m950 delivered for that price.

    • Got the M950 for $59.95 from the Logitechshop sale - good mouse/ price.

Surprisingly still prefer my old Logitech VX Revolution - unfortunately end of line.

Found some VXs at Mwave if anyone still interested in them - on special atm $49.99 (not free shipping)
      http://www.mwave.com.au/search.asp?CartID=mAU@Z17NBU5SW9G8TQ…

      • Since the above post the VX is no longer on special : now $75.90

    Excellent!

Ive always wanted to have a glass mousepad and now I can! ;)

  • +1

Sounds good but one of the reviews mention that the scroll wheel doesnt work as a middle mouse button but rather simply switches hyperscrolling on/off. Ive become pretty used to using it to close tabs/open windows so does anyone know if this can be adjusted? Sounds like a good mouse otherwise

    • +1

There's a separate button for that below the scroll wheel (above the indicator light). :)

You can clearly see it on the display picture.

To be honest when I first bought this mouse I was annoyed that you couldn't use the scroll wheel to tab links until I released the separate button below it. : D

    • that's a terrible review - completely oblivious to the functionality of the mouse

the mouse WHEEL operates like ever other modern wheel mouse, with a click function - there is a button below that that controls scrolling functionality

      • That's how most of their mice work, but on this one it appears (from reviews, more than one) to be the other way around. Can someone who has one confirm?

        • +1

I can confirm the wheel middle click turns the hyperscroll on/off. Similar to the VX nano which I have. I've grown accustomed to using the right/left scroll to middle click instead.

  • Logitechshop have it cheaper ($49 delivered) but out of stock

  • Better off getting a sweet gaming mouse pad ^_^

    • Sometimes you can't help it where you're using the mouse eg on top of the blanket in bed.

    • +1
      • +2

Don't need a mouse pad with these dark field mice. I can even use it on my cat! Pisses them off though.

        • You would be surprised how much difference a good mouse mat makes. I can use a regular laser mouse on my desk but the precision is not great. A good mouse mat makes it work 10x better. Plus it is much smoother to move the mouse and less stress on your palm and wrist.

  • I have lots of mice for FREE. Please take them away :)

    • +1

Ones that my cat will be interested, or ones that I will be interested in?

  • Just bought one of these on Monday with a k800 wireless keyboard (unifying receiver ftw!)

It's a little flatter than I was used to and took a couple days for my hands to get used to but has since been awesome. Really are able to use it anywhere. I found it a tad heavy with 2 AA's so I only use 1 (I like my mice super light) and have found it a great compromise.

  • Can it work on water like the big J?

    • no harm in trying ;)

    • Should work on ice just fine

  • Why not just use an accelerometer chip, instead of laser.
Then it really will work anywhere.

    • cost of components? precision?

    • Yeah, a laser diode is muchmuchmuchmuch cheaper than a 2-axis accelerometer. And more accurate too.

Plus, calling it Darkfield sounds cooler than Accelerometer.

  • This isn't a good price at all.. ive seen it for $40

  • Yeah and logitechshop will probably have it on special again for $40 within a week or two.

  • Just my opinion but this is a rubbish mouse, bought it from Logitech a month back for $50 and dumped on ebay a week later. I much prefer the MS Blue track mice and my Revolution MX (not the m950), the scroll wheel is nice but the buttons are no good and seems to be designed for people with monkey hands and as mentioned not even a great price.
