Which store? Looks like clearance stock from several catalogues ago.

(Fyi they is a good deal. Arlec equivalent at Bunnings was $30 on sale but they don't offer that anymore)

    • Riverwood.

Arlec ones are $35 from Bunnings.

    Not very bright.

    • That's true. I didn't notice the lumen rating but that sounds kinda low.

    • Yea. Not very good as a spotlight. More than sufficient as a normal outdoor light.

      • yep. be careful getting to bright. Neighbours could dob you into council

  • Hmm says 1800 lumens in total on the box , so 900 Lumens each is that very bright for out doors ?

    • Not at all….

900 lumens is a little brighter than the ole 60w incandescent globes. The old floodlights this design used PAR38 globes which were 150w - so more than double in brightness.

You can buy LED PAR 38 globes that are brighter and fit them to this unit though, but then there goes your savings.

      • They don’t spend that much time on, so not really. Turn the on time down if you are bothered.

        • No I meant replacing the globes in the Aldi deal means the overall cost of this light is then more - so no real benefit buying a cheap Aldi light if you have to upgrade the globes to a decent brightness.

  • I have these at home, can confirm they are bright. Bright enough to light up the whole front yard. Would Defs buy these again.

  • These were half price a few backs at my local ALDI. All gone the next day.
