    Note if you're using Amex with your PayPal to pay for PayPal Digital Gift Cards, you will only earn 50% of points on the dollar value. At least that happened with my Platinum Edge when buying an Ebay gift card through them.

      It said it will take 3 hours. But in some case it could take upto 24 hours.

    Shipping really kills most of the deals on catch.
    Most online retailers give you free shipping after you spend a certain amount, not catch - unless you sign up to their monthly membership

        Yeah, i find they're generally $5-10 cheaper on the items that i want.
        Once you factor in $8-10 for postage you're much better off just buying from a bricks and mortar store and not having to wait for postage.

        I used to shop at Catch a lot back in the day, then other online retailers started offering better deals combined with cheaper/free postage.
        Catch really need to "catch" up

      Yes. Paypal seems to time limit purchases for some reason. I bought two this morning, one an hour later, and two just now at lunch. Worked after waiting a bit between each time.

      Also - they arrived instantly for me, YMMV.

      You missed the boat when you could purchase catch gift cards and stack it with unidays code for another 10% off, making it essentially 25% off. The switch console is $399 on catch so that would make it around $300. With shipping, it would have brought it to about $315+ delivered.

    Caution - it appears as if Catch is trying to load consumers up on gift cards that expire in 12 months before the 30th September deadline whereby they will need a minimum of 3 year expiry for NSW residents. This is a dodgy practice in my opinion and Paypal should know better. OP - great post but it may be helpful if can you put "12 month expiry" in the description please.

      I also had the same feeling as there has suddenly been an influx of these cards being sold over the past 6 months. I was also wondering why they were allowed to expire in 12 months as i had thought the law had already changed, now it makes more sense.

      Catch has updated their expiry dates to include a 36 month period for digital gift cards. The expiry date on the gift cards for this promo is indeed 36 months. Please click through to redemption page on the email to see the updated expiry date. Apologies for any confusion.

          Except the paypal email still states 12month expiry? So what happens if they do expire early, cant paypal say that they stated it on the email and hence tough luck?

    Ordered 2 gift cards on the 4th Sep and one of them arrived instantly but the other one never received. Contacted Paypal 3 times but no response….
