My first time to post a bargain. It's a bargain to me at least. Have checked StaticICE. Normally it costs $30+. So I bought two. Hopefully it wouldn't turn out to be a picture only or just a plastic cover. Thanks guys.

    should i buy it?? my controllers are white and not sure i have any games that use it anyway. i rarely use the wii

      If you plan on buying Zelda Skyward Sword later this year then you you'll want this. Apparently it requires wii motion plus. That's all the games I can think of :p.

      EDIT: just looked at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_MotionPlus and some games that require motion plus came bundled with it when it launched which might be the case for Zelda.

        Zelda won't come with this bundled as production of these have most probably been discontinued.

        Now that all Wii remotes have MotionPlus built in as standard, there is no need for these attachments unless you bought Wii remotes before the upgrade and aren't keen on paying another $60+ for a new one.

        Two games that I really thought were awesome that needed the motion plus were Red Steel 2 and Tiger Woods. Fact is, without those 2 games, I wouldn't even have considered buying the motion plus.

    Just ordered one to replace the now-faulty (not so) cheapie I got from HK last year for the second controller.

    The Motion Plus feature is now standard on new Wii controllers, so that might explain the sell-off of these,,, that and the blacknessisity…

    As far as games requiring the feature,,, all the Beach Sports games use it for sure.

      These were only released in black and white as far as I know.

      I'm assuming JB have managed to sell all of their white ones (online, at least) as there is no listing of it on their website.

          BTW, in case anyone missed it, these are only ATTACHMENTS to the original Wii Remote… this isn't the Wii Remote Plus that now comes standard in all Wii bundles.

    Just got 2. Been meaning to since they came out but like others couldn't justify how pricey they are. Rather genuine than cheap copies.

    does anyone have one of these yet? i'm just curious about adding the extra length to the controller. most games i play on the wii require the controller to be sideways, adding another inch to the bottom (or right side) of the controller makes me think that the 1 and 2 buttons would be a lot harder to reach with my thumb..

    can anyone comment on that?

      It does make games that use the wiimote sideways harder to play..unless you have an incredibly long thumb. I only attach mine when I need it. Most games don't use it so I don't have it on. That's why I prefer the Wii Remote Plus but you can't complain for $10.

        thanks mate. this spoils it for me.. i really only want this so i can get an official rubber casing for the controller. if i have to pull the cover + attachment off to play a game, then it's no fun.

      FYI, these motion plus attachments come with a longer stretchy sleeve that replaces the standard protective cover, to accommodate the overall longer unit.

      The MP attachment "passes through" the numb-Chuck connection so that you don't need to remove the MP bizzo to use a non-MP / numchuk game…

      BTW, it was the nummchuchk connector that's gone dodgy on my HK knock-off unit :( , hence the attraction of this deal to me!

      I leave the MP connected the whole time, regardless of whether the game requires it or not. Don't find it a problem at all. If you have small hands then yeah maybe you might want to remove it…

        Same here,, the MP only comes off for battery charging or if the $%^^&# thing won't connect to the dumbnchuck properly.

    Ordered 2 for myself (hopefully the next wiimotes I buy have inbuilt motion plus) and 1 for my brother.

    Very nice price, I was considering getting some from dealextreme, but I thought better of it.

      Yeah, I got a controller, knumkchuck and motion plus from DX to make up a 2nd controller for the Weeiii when we bought it 12 months ago.

      The controller and numnmkchuchk are still going strong, but the MP (which was much more than AU$10 ATT) is now unusable with the chumnuck :(

        It could be under JB's cost price, but they're better off clearing them at some potential loss rather than spend more money holding them in stock.

        In the end these are businesses, not charities :)

        That's not to say EB mightn't PM on this'un, if only to keep customers coming back??

        Hmm, never heard that excuse from them before. I have however been told they won't price match a computer printout, needs to be a catalog of a store which is both nearby and has the item in stock.

          Nah, Ive had the excuse from EB before. "We can do what we want" she told me as I pointed to the advertisement on the wall which said "Seen it cheaper, then we'll match it". Never been back since. Rather pay a couple of bucks more, if need be, at Big W or GAME within the same shopping centre. EB can go forth and multiple within, as far as I am concerned.

      I still haven't received an update. I received the initial order confirmation e-mail on Saturday night, but I'm concerned by the fact that when I log into the JB Hi-Fi website, there is no record of this order in my account history. I have just e-mailed them about the order and will report back if I get a reply.

        UPDATE: I received a reply from JB Hi-Fi advising me that the item is on order with their supplier and at this stage they cannot provide an estimated date for dispatch. I was advised that my payment would not be processed until the order is ready for dispatch. I was given the option of cancelling the order if I didn't want to wait.

        Strange thing is that when I ordered the Wii Motion Plus the website stated it was in stock.
