  Bought one recently as a general upgrade to my old Jaycar charger and also as a stab in the dark to restore a dying battery in one of our cars, as these can do that. Unfortunately it didn't help the dying battery but otherwise happy to own one.

    What do you mean by "these can do that" sounds like there is a chance. My assumption is that the battery charger should be able to fix up dying batteries.

      I mean it has a "recondition" mode for dying discharged batteries. I've heard people using the CTEK's to bring life back to old batteries that weren't able to hold much charge previously. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me.

      Of course it'll charge a battery and a lot more capably than other chargers. I wanted a new charger anyway so that was going to be icing on the cake.
