  • Any deals on the 65 inch? CostCo had it cheaper, but I believe it was the EZ series…

    • +1

Yeah Videopro also had a good deal on the EZ series but i wanted the Deep Black Filter which was only available on EZ1000U. Now it's standard across range.

Appliances Central has 65 inch for $4037.5 which is not that competitive.

Videopro has one for $3832 after applying POLLEN code. Still way more than what I want to spend ona TV.

      • Agree. I missed the Sony A1 $2999, that is now my line in the sand on a 65 inch OLED.

Have you seen an EZ and FZ side by side? Interesting in your comment on the Deep Black filter, as I personally haven't.

        • +1

No I haven't. Reviews say having the Filter does contribute to better contrast when ambient is bright. Plus, I'm not in a hurry, so……wait it is.

        • +1

The FZ looks much better IMHO

    • Care to provide a link? I can't find it.

This wasn't even on my radar just assumed the LG C8 was the only option.

Time to research and prob miss out

    • Even though LG is the manufacturer of virtually all large size OLED panels, you'd be surprised how much reviewers like Panasonic.

      • The stutter issue mentioned above is a bit disconcerting and Pani maybe have one of the less well liked smart OSes?

Not sure of this is due to less functionality or poorer UX. Or perhaps poorer UX due to greater functionality

But quick skim definitely rates it highly

        • I like the pani engine and picture - good bang for the buck when shopping around.

The os is limited but hey its a screen 1st, smart functionality for Netflix etc is ok.

Don't like companies that lie about firmwares though - that's illegal when announced at trade fairs etc in my book…. deceptive conduct etc..
