Free goodie bag w/ Woman's Weekly mag - Woolworths

40

The only time I'm ever tempted to buy Woman's Weekly is when they offer a goodie bag, and this one is worth it:

Box of Special K
Box of Special K Advantage (both single serves)
Full size Old El Paso fajita seasoning mix
Sunrice Tumblers (some kind of Crunch like chocolate bar)
Two pack of Colgate Wisp

And samples of:
Canesten hygiene rinse
Strawberry Sipahh
Wasabi peas
Fruit Nuggets
Dermeze soap free wash
Carefree acti-fresh
Chux Magic Eraser
Veiled Naturals sponges

Not a bad swag.

  • how much for the mag?? i wonder what my gf will think if i give her the canestan thing lol

    • I'd be more worried about the Carefree thingy - '8 hours of odour protection' and it's tea tree flavoured…! 0.o

    • Sounds a bit wrong, doesn't it??

  • Don't forget the toilet paper/magazine!

Decent deal, will probably pick one up. Magazine is like $3-$4 IIRC?

$3-4 for 6 ply. That sounds alright! It may help too if youre one to mix the Strawberry sipahh with the wasabi peas, fruit nuggets and dermeze soapfree wash…

    I think it's like $6-7 now.

Wow, shows how long since I last got sucked in by one of their little goodie bags.

  • Its like $6.70. Im tempted to buy the mag, but……..

  • I think $6.90 to be exact(12 issues Regular price: A$82.80)

  • Any chance you'd be able to buy the magazine, keep the goodie bag, and return the magazine later for a refund?

Probably a little unethical, and a little too much effort for a free goodie bag, but theoretically, would it be possible?

    • +1

You can try. Just make sure it's not ripped and folded over.

      • I could, but to be honest there's not really anything in there I particularly want; I'm just curious as to whether you could actually do it. If anyone tries, let me know.

        • In that case, you could do that to other magazines as well, woolies and coles would just be like a library. Surely they have a policy to prevent this right?

Mag publishers need to be worried when consumers are more exited about the free samples than wanting the core product. Maybe they should just sell sample showbags at the supermaket instead (Give me some credit when you do this folks)? ;-)

ooh magic eraser! Love that stuff.

  • Is it wrong that I am a heterosexual male and enjoy reading Women's Weekly?

    • Yes, esp if you read it for the articles but now you can say you got it for the free goodies ;-)
