  • This is an excellent carrier and an excellent price. I use it all the time, baby loves it.

    • Great quality too. Ours had been through 2 kids before we used it for our 3. Still holding up fine.

We also tried the Baby Bjorn and some sling/wrap thing but not as good as the ergo.

  • I'd so love a woman to carry me around in this.

  • Down to $199 at baby bunting as well.

  • 4.5% back from cashrewards I know, how to get discounted giftcards?

    • The same question.
Guess it may be by groupon or cashrewards? Because sometime I buy woolies gift cards that way.

      • I have noticed that it used to be available on the entertainment book website, however currently 'sold out.'

        • Oh that's bad.
Maybe I should focus on the next entertainment membership discount. I missed last one.

There are other cheaper options. We have an Ergobaby (diff model) that was $140 on sale. But theres the hoptie and hug a bub. My partner prefers the latter two. I prefer the ergo due to clipping together rather than long cloth straps that you wrap around yourself

My brother in law has something else he swears by.

It's totally a case of preference, don't feel that spending $200 will get you the "best"

IMO the Ergo is objectively the "best" though. It's the most substantial and offers the best support for the baby and the person carrying it, it allows baby to be carried up front or on the back, and handles older/heavier babies better than most others. When you compare the design, construction and materials to some of the cheaper options there is some clear justification for the higher price. You're not paying the premium purely for the name/reputation.

Yes there's cheaper fit for purpose options which some people consider better for a range of reasons. But other than price they're more subjective reasons.

The way I look at it is if you spend $200 on an ergo it's probably the only carrier you'll buy. If you spend $100 on a cheaper option there's a fair chance you'll buy something else.

We were given a wrap/tie carrier when our first baby was born. We got the hang of using it and it was OK, but it was never used again after we got a hand me down Ergo a few months later.

      • Agree, Ergobaby has some similar but not the same functional products.
360 ones seems more popular than non-360.

  • Ordered through qantas mall to collect 1200 points

  • Now I can do the baby MJ thing haha

I have seen one of this raise 5 children. started with my nephews then niece then my own kids + family friends.

I am still using this with my 2nd daughter whom is 15 month old.

    good products. easy to wash.

    VERY GOOD baby carrier. period.

  • Careful when adding other sale items. When added another sale item from the Kids section (15% discount), the special price of 199 becomes ~240 (RRP -15% as per the kids sale).

Guessing you have to make separate transactions.
