MyNetFone $10/Month Calls & Text 1GB Data on Telstra Network

150

There may be some folks like me who don't use much data but need a cheap, prepaid, no contract mobile plan with a Telstra MVNO for unlimited calls and text.

Received an email today from MyNetFone for unlimited calls and text from $10.

Been using MNF since the early VOIP days and the customer service has always been good and Australian based.

1GB Data $10/month

3GB Data $19/month

5GB Data $24/month

10GB Data $33/month

15GB Data $39/month

Not sure how it compares to other offers. Hope it is of interest.

Not sure how it compares to other offers.

Then how do you know if it's a bargain or not?

Its no better than Belong's $10 plan, also on Telstra

      • +1

Agreed, belong can rollover, even can transfer unused data

      • It seems international roaming can be enabled which is not possible for Belong - good if you travel and need to receive one time pin codes from banks and what not

Well I was paying $20/month with woolworths mobile and not using the 2GB data - that is 100% more, so it's a bargain for me. You will have to make up your own mind :)

Belong's the same price but you can buy an extra 2gb for $10 and data rollover/gifting

buy an extra 2gb for $10

Bad choice, when you can upgrade to $40 plan for a month (+$30) and get 15GB banked for as long as it takes.
Or use gifting, referrals and starter SIMs for way cheaper per GB.

  • I have been using them as a internet provider not too bad and cheap.

As best as I can tell, none of these plans have data rollover so count me out. I'll stick with my Aldimobile $15 plan (1.5GB data, rollover up to 30GB data). Suits my usage better- generally I don't use much data at all, but on occasion I can use a lot, so the big build up of rolled-over data allowance works well.

Belong and Woolworths Mobile has unlimited data bank/data rolling.

Hi mr626, I have my daughter on www.catchconnect.com.au which uses the Optus network. She is on the $15 for 30 day plan - unlimited calls, sms and just recent bumpmed up the data to now 3gb from 2gb. Also has a cap on the data so if she goes over, no data cost shock

      • Thanks for the replies all, good to know. Maybe I'll consider Belong's $10 plan as they use Telstra (required for reception in my area).

        • Woolworths mobile uses Telstra network as well

I see aldi still have $99 for 12gb for whole year still in the shops

I'm upvoting the deal cause I love for more competition to enter the market in offering affordable Telstra Wholesale plans. Plus the price difference between Belong and this is probably worth it for better customer support.

    • I have my NBN with these guys and they aren't too bad when contacting for technical support etc so yeah if you are buying this for someone of older age, this aspect would be more beneficial than data rollover

My local aldi still has 99 dollars for 12months.. calls, texts, and 12gb data…thats total data not monthly. Also telstra network.

    Anyone… Voicemail or Talk2Txt?

  • And they seem to offer international roaming at a reasonable price.
