Are these any good for cutting out noise?
They have good noise cancellation and do isolate passively well - the real leather pads helps with that!
Sound quality and build is top notch too :)
How much do they weigh, will they fit into a coat/jacket's pocket? I'm looking for something to use on long flights.
They do fold up but would be hard to say if it would fit in a jacket as the cups aren't small.
Roughly 270 grams - not heavy but not light!

Are these better than the qc35 or the wh1000xm2?
Better on sound quality than those two, not quite as good on noise cancelling.

How do you think these compare to the new Sony WH-1000XM3 that are coming out? Would that be a better investment if I don't care about the cash?
They are a slightly more premium feel with the real leather and metal - sound quality is preference; noise cancelling not quite as good as the sony!
