I have NEVER received an email about these fee-free listings, but have been able to activate every one that I can remember seeing here.

Enable promotion emails in your settings

        • I'll check that out. Thanks!

Is it necessary to post targeted offers?

      Yes, yes it is.

      Is it necessary to complain?

Is it necessary to post targeted offers?

Looking at the amount of votes this deal has received, I would say it's necessary.

    • +2

Definitely. I don't always get the emails and I don't check my eBay seller account every day, but I do check OB daily.

    • +4

      I stand corrected then.

  • I honestly love these free listing and pay no fees. :D

    • +4

I sell exclusively using these offers.

    Cheers OP :)

As someone who’s just sold an iPhone X, iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 3 these promos are fantastic…..it’s a shame you still have to deal with the absolute Muppet’s who bid on items, win and don’t feel the need to ever pay!!!

    • I got so sick and tired of that crap, I just set a buy it now price I'm happy with.

Yea, I set it a little below market value but chances are they buy it, they'll pay for it.

      • +6

You can set buy it now to require immediate payment.

Takes care of all the idiots.

        • ^^ This ^^

        • That setting literally is missing from my ebay on desktop. I always have to jump to the mobile app to enable that on each auction.

        • @t3chshopper: You have to switch to the advanced listing tool to get to that feature on desktop for some reason.

  • Doesn't work with my account. Interestingly though, for about two days last week, I kept getting large ads on other sites telling me I can list 10 or 20 items (it kept changing) on eBay with no final value fees. But when I click on the banner ad, it tells me it's by invite only. What a tease. :)

Thanks for getting me to check my eBay account OP. I activated the eBay Plus Spring Offer: List & Sell 20 Items for Free.

  • Perfect for selling Grand Final tickets

  • Didn't receive an email (do have emails enabled though), but the offer is available in my account, even through I'm already in the middle of another similar offer that expires on the 30th.

Thanks OP. Enrolled in the offer. Do we have list until 27th or the items must sell by 27th as well ? I doubt but want to make sure I don’t get caught out by the T&C’s

    • +2

Just list items by the 27th. Sell anytime :)

Legend! Needed to list my iPhone and Apple Watch following an upgrade. This will save me heaps!

  • If anyone wants to sell their LG V20, message me. I need a new phone.

  • yep, got it. Nice.

Might sell my eBay Plus subscription.

    • +2

      Don't bother, it's worthless.

      • Only if the listing is not eligible for eBay Plus. I think it's too bulky. It is a big steaming pile.

  • It's coming up that I still need to pay a final fee once it's sold.

Will be annoying if that's the case, 10% is steep.

    • No way will they not charge the final fee while they have 10% off everything. Otherwise i can list a $10mn pen and get my friend to buy it at 10% discount (with cash on delivery so no money needs to actually move), the $1mn coming out of eBay's pocket.

    • Always save screenshots, my friend.

    • Sometimes the discount doesn't appear until the invoice is issued, which is disconcerting because you're always left wondering if it's going to apply or not. Alternatively, hit them up on their Live Chat help and explain the situation, and the agent you connect with should be able to sort it out. As has already been suggested, keeping screenshots is a good idea as well.

  • Can you list with a 'placeholder' and then update the description later?

i.e. provide the model number, description, condition etc and then add photos later?

I have quite a few items I'm wanting to sell but it might take a while to snap good photos of everything.

    • You can.. but you will need to upload a picture to be able to submit the listing, even if it’s just a blank.
