  No, as long as GST is paid, you can claim. For any goods less than 1000$ it used to be no GST for import. Now we pay GST on every item. So you should be able to claim the GST on TRS

  Recently the 10.5" pro had a special on eBay's 19th birthday.
  Otherwise, I would definitely recommend waiting. Rumour has it they will announce new Pro models in October (or latest sometime in November).
  If I was in the market for a pro; I'd absolutely be looking in the 2nd hand market. You should be able to find some good deals that way.

      4 speakers (stereo in both portrait and landscape), laminated screen, better colour gamut, 120hz screen, options for more storage, much better cameras (7 vs 1.2 MP front, 12 vs 8MP rear), A10X vs A10 SoC, 2nd gen Touch ID, option to connect a keyboard cover (without bluetooth).
      
      The biggest improvement is the speakers and screen. But it does cost twice as much, and I don't know if it's twice as good. But some of these things mean a lot to me.

      Because, this shitty tablet only let's you do what Apple want you to do. Even if it came with a GTX 1080ti (soldered on), 144hz screen, 20 hour battery life, and a soldered on Samsung 960 pro the lenovo would still win because it can do simple things like run Firefox with ublock origin, play .mkv files in vlc, play dreamcast roms, read and sd card.

        @idonotknowwhy: Firstly, Safari supports content blockers on iOS. VLC is also available, and you can copy files over to watch from PC or download (yes, MKV's too). It's not really fair to say the Lenovo "****s all over it", when the iPad is a much better tablet for most people. I've been through and tried many Android tablets and nothing comes close as far as the overall experience goes (fluidity, app refinement, stability, updates etc).
        
        The small amount of storage (16GB) on the Lenovo doesn't leave much for apps, and not everything can run from a Micro SD (at a slower rate).
