[Pre-Order] 40% off New Samsung Galaxy Watch for Enhanced Partnership Program Customers $299 - $389.40 (Work Email Required)

3150

Samsung may pull this offer tomorrow since this is going to get Ozbargained to hell, so be quick.
[Update 2 - 4G models BACK IN STOCK! about 450units left as of 4:30pm. Probably from cancelled orders. Get in quick!
Bluetooth versions of both sizes and all 3 colours are still available]
Also, make sure you are checking your order history via the EPP samsung store url, not the regular public one or you might not see it show up
And dont forget cashrewards for this. I already got $10 back TA has confirmed cashrewards is ineligible for EPP deals. My $10 is still pending and will be declined by samsung after review

[Update 3 - samsung seems to have applied a quota of 2 wearables per account (you can see your limit under the "My Quota" menu under your personal detail menu icon). This will limit scalpers, but also people offering to help others.
Stock looks like there's 300 4G 46mm models left]

Update 4 - 85 4G 46mm units left as of 29/09

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch is 40% off via the Samsung Enhanced Partnership Programs website. This is a preorder to be delivered on/after the 3rd like everywhere else, i.e. if your company has a corporate benefit relationship with Samsung, you can register your existing Samsung account by activating it using your company email address. I can confirm working for Westpac and Telstra.

To test, check with your company’s corporate benefits. I simply modified the URL below accordingly with "Telstra" or "Westpac" to see if the companies have a relationship. But you still need a work email to receive the activation link.

  • PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)(shop.samsung.com)
  • Telstra(shop.samsung.com)
  • Vodafone(shop.samsung.com)
  • Westpac(shop.samsung.com)
  • Woolworths(shop.samsung.com)
More being updated by RichardL as they are identified

Once activated you will see a huge banner saying 40% off RRP for all models from the 42mm BT model up to the 46mm 4G model
4G model was out of stock over the weekend but restocked this morning so be quick.

Inventory appears to be shared with retail offers from the Samsung Pay App deal, which is the next best thing if you can’t get this deal:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/404243

You also get free express delivery and if you really wanted the dual charger, its $20 off via the corporate site as well.
And no you cannot stack the Samsung Pay deal with this 40% offer (I already tried :P)

This is a killer deal as you save $260 with free shipping on the 4G 46mm model. For comparison, the Gear S3 Classic/Frontier were previously being offered for $350 more than a year after launch and previous deals were still around $300.

So $300-389 for a preorder with 7 days battery life and optional 4G is unbeatable.

@Samsung - please dont kill me for sharing this deal to 7000+ of my friends

Received both of mine just now via Woolies link (Gmail)!

    • check the seals!

      • +3

Mine looks fine, both sides are still sealed

      • Why?

  • -1

Still after a 46mm 4g if anyone can help. I'm in Perth.
I'll throw in a $50 coles group and myer voucher

  • All of them seem to be back in stock now.

Mines here. Yay, now to explain to the misus :-/

    • +1

      get her 1

      • Give her one.

  • +1

    Mines heres :) Bluetooth only

The black seal just seemed very mediocre compared to the other side (plastic), but definitely sealed..

The charger came in two parts. (1) Cabled 5V microusb + (2) charge dock.

    • +1

Side note - all the small clear stickers were pretty annoying….

      • +1

Yep, especially with no nails! For me I'm glad I went the 42mm version it's spot on size wise

        • Ugh I'm worried about the size of the 46 on my tiny wrists.

          • @Hinee: Mine are quite small and watch is pretty much side to side! I was tempted with the bigger one, but wanted the all black and had a look at a few wrist comparisons.

            • @Soluble: I'm currently wearing a Pebble which is only 38mm across so this will take a lot of getting used to!!

          • @Hinee: Similarly worried as well. but the 46mm had a much bigger battery so i went with it.. lets see how it fits when i receive it…

      • The wake up gesture is pretty annoying - unless I rotate it all the way - it doesn't turn on…

might have to turn on display always on.

        • Thats true. Display doesnt turn on at all with wrist gesture. Really annoying.

    Just received mine this morning.

Funny thing was that I received the Tracking SMS, 3 hours after the item was delivered.

  • Welp - looks like mine has gotten lost in the system. I was really hoping to get this before the pre-order phase closed but it ain't gonna be :(

    • Mine is 'held at depot', spoke to star track, no explainable reason why. Someone is going to ring me back apparently. Held at Melbourne Vic

      • +2

Same here.. I will just wait and not interfere with their incompetence..

        • Lol, don't see us getting it today

      • I was hoping to see how big it was on my little wrist and order the 42 if not suitable. Oh well…

  • Thank you OP for the post. Just received mine 42mm Bluetooth Rose gold. Ordered Tuesday night via the "woolworths/private email" method. Would really like a silver 46mm 4G for my partner if anyone can help out. Based in Sydney!!

    • They're out of stock again unfortunately.

      • Can't log on any more unfortunately!!

  • my "woolworths" one went through and got it in the mail :) happy days.

  • +1

Now that mine has shipped I might be able to use my other 1 under the quota for someone else.

Brisbane ONLY - south side pick up.

The 46mm LTE is out of stock.

    • Hi mate, in in sydney if you can help out. Happy to work with whatever process works for you. Please pm me.

      • Prefer Brisbane - physical item for cash just prevents any doubt!

      • Azazal is first in line - the are enough PM's in line now. I'm sure i can help someone out tonight.

  • just received mine… thank you OP!

  • Just received mine as well in Sydney
    46mm Bluetooth

Box came sealed with the normal Samsung seal on the top and a normal plastic tape on the bottom. The Samsung seal looks a bit broken but is still sealed.
Charger also came in the 2 piece setup with the brick and cord together and then the stand separate in contrast to other countries where its a 3 piece setup.
Thanks OP for the great deal.

  • +2

Just received mine but by my ms. Can’t wait to go home opening it up!

    • +1

      Go easy tiger

      • I mean the watch…

  • For those with the 4g version, what's the activation process. Do you need to call Telstra?

    • No, however, looks like you will need a samsung phone to activate the LTE service. dunno the details though.

      • Yeah I have read that as well.

        • This is disappointing. It was not mentioned anywhere that you need Samsung phone for LTE to work. I will have to return.

      • +1

        Process should be:
        1) Download Samsung's "Galaxy Wearable" app
        2) Pair watch with phone
        3) During setup, confirm Telstra One Number subscription
        4) Sub cost ($5/mo) will be added to your account

Apple watch needed iphone (duh), but Galaxy should not need Samsung phone.
Edit: It is not required to contact Telstra as advised by their chat line. Process is all on our end.

    • I have a Samsung S7, and basically yea, when you start setting it up it will ask do you want to connect it to tesltra and you need to put in your telstra id/password then hit yes to $5 a month then its done. Was all pretty easy.

  • Received mine.
    Melbourne, sealed etc..
The 46mm is slightly on the large side and I have big arms.

I had the LG urbane, this is heavier and thicker.

Regretting not getting the LTE version, but yeah, all good.

  • I recommend you buy a screen protector straight away.
I already have 4 different bands to interchange (leather, rubber, steel, aluminium).

  • Need an ozbargain app for my watch now….

    • Email alerts :D

    • Should be able to set up an RSS feed for alerts or something.

  • Just received my watch, anyone experienced this issue when trying to send a doodle MMS?
"Can't send mms messages from gear to this type of phone"

    • worked fine for me.

On my Samsung S8 to my Wifes Google Pixel via watch

      • Mine is on Xperia XZ2 dual sim intl version (6GB RAM) :(

  • Understand it's a silly question, but I don't know the answer.. what is the MAIN issue with accepting goods with a broken seal?

I can think of a heap of things.. but what's the main rationale for immediate return?

    • 1) Paying full price for potentially refurbished / used goods?

      2) Your items have been swapped out without other items?

      3) Principle

    • You bought a brand new item and don't want a returned item, or the item may of been tampered with.

    • +1

If the seal is broken on arrival, it is possible that the goods inside have been tampered with, damaged or stolen. If you accept delivery and open the package, you may be liable.

If you refuse and return as seal is broken, anything that has been done to the contents will not be your responsibility.

Basically. If you accept it with a broken seal, and the contents are screwed, you might be stuck with broken or even missing stuff.

      • Thank you all! Good explanation.

    • +1

I dont see any issue with broken sealed product as far as it was preordered.

      • +1

It was released monthss ago in other countries, so it could be returned unit with repackaged.

        • +1

Yeah sure, returned with an AU charger in it?

        • mine arrived with seal broken but fresh tape on the bottom

          inside everything was mint new

charger is AU, with au certifications
warranty explicitly says AU warranty card

      • You never know, the package I received looked pretty dented and what do you know, the seal was broken. The other watch that arrived at the same time was in perfect condition packaging and seal. I would never accept anything with a broken seal.

  • +1

    All variants back in stock!

    • Was that including the 46mm Galaxy Watch 4G in silver? Showing as out of stock for me sadly…

      • Yes it was

  • +1

What are peoples tracking saying? I got my dispatched email yesterday, never received an SMS, but it is in my Auspost app, so I typed the consignment number into the Startrack website and it is just saying "in transit" in the top right, and "Article number (censored) is Freight Handling" in the details section.

Only Auspost could screw this up. I live about 3 minutes from a Startrack/AusPost depot facility, and about the same distance to my LPO.

    • A few people including myself I know didnt get them, Melbourne

      • Bloody AusPost, charge you overnight transit rates, delivers bullcrap service. Even says on the tracking page, expected delivery date is today.

        • I quite often get notifications of a rescheduled delivery for the following day, always startrack. Sucks when I wait home all day and miss it anyway.

          • +1

@Soluble: Same here. Waited all day as the SMS says delivery today. Hopeless StarTrack.

          • @Soluble: Well I actually have movement on the tracking number, says it is not at the delivery depot, so hopefully I get it today.

Still no SMS, or any emails from Startrack.

    • I'm in the same boat. We have a corporate account with ST at work so gave them a call and got a weird response that it had left Sydney but not scanned in Brisbane. Devo

      • Maybe when they advertise overnight service, they mean they can lose it overnight?

I've received about 30 parcels over the years using Startrack and I've always had amazing service. They are my preferred courier because it's always next day, and if I miss the delivery it just goes down the road to my LPO and not out to the airport or somewhere for the courier depots.

        Hope it rocks up tomorrow.

        • Is 17.00 the latest they deliver?

          • @Archer12: I suppose it depends on your local sorting centre and the drivers.

Gumtree is flooded with Galaxy Watch for sale

Some even asking for $500+ for the 46m Bluetooth version. Shame!

    • +3

"also have rose gold in another ad"
Alright then Anton whatever mate good luck getting $480

Dont suppose you can help us out cwongtech?

      • -1

        Thanks cwongtech, changed my settings.

  • 46mm silver 4G is out of stock again …just FYI

    • 42mm 4g are still available.
46mm 4g keep going in and out of stock

  • Received mine. 46mm LTE. No broken seals. :)
    Thanks OP!

  • Anyone who has recieved this - had any issues setting up? My Galaxy S7 is getting stuck at "Setting Up Your Phone"

    • No issues with Note 9 over here…

    • No issue with iPhone 6s plus

    • Go to Bluetooth setting and make sure both Bluetooth network connected for B130
And the it will show pair on phone and watch

    • This is a long shot, but are you on iiNet? If you're on wifi try the set up using mobile data. I had issues setting up my S3 frontier on wifi with iiNet. Turned out to be a known bug with my router (Asus DSL ac68u)

      • Nah not on iiNet, just Optoss mobile. Might goto samsung shop tomorrow! But only using BT atm

    • no issues at all .. everything worked perfectly .. note 8.

    • No issues with my S7 but some steps did seem to take a little while.

    • If anyone is having it get stuck at setting up your phone - if you use VMWARE or Agent, this will block it from working. (Agent used in my case for accessing work emails on phone)

  • Gumtree is packed with these…lol.

  • +1

Mines sitting in Sydney since 630 this morning :/

    • Same. Star track and Samsung were no help. Basically said see if they deliver tomorrow.

  • I dont have big arm and not big body build, so is 46mm too big for me? Is anyone thinking 46mm is too big for you after you tried it on?

    • Just got mine. Not at all. I'm average build. Stoked with it. I'm used to wearing 45mm watches. No chance I could've done the 42mm, especially with the compromise to the battery.

    • I did have the S3 which was 46mm, sometimes I felt it was a little too big for me as I have small wrists. The 42mm fits really well for me and doesn't look oversized… also I think the all black looks great! In saying that I sort of want the 46mm due to the larger battery.
