OP when were you charging $89 for these towels please?

  • +2

Lol, $89 for these towels? You may need to re-evaluate your business plan.. $29 should be your regular price.

    • Consider these were made in Turkey one by one by hand…….

      • They are all from turkey. Using turkish cotton
However Towels are not handmade , Only sewing tassels by hand

Turkish cotton? That is not disclosed in your title or description above. The word cotton is also missing from your Home page and your About Us page. As for the Product page, cotton is also omitted in both description and specifications. Even after two years, not one of these 12 towels has a single review. Have I got that right?

@PJC: If it was my business, I would have the Turkish tags well displayed and proud of it.
But we on Ozbargain would be better skip our cup of coffee and just buy this stuff to help Turkish farmers who live in very dire conditions, or someone would say is this really our cup of coffee?

If you've been to Turkey, you'll know products "Made in Turkey" aren't really known for quality and everything's relatively very cheap there.

Lovely country, great people and amazing food but hardly the hallmark for quality.

No reflection on these products, never tried them but your comment doesn't imply there's added value there.

        • I can argue your comment,

They are not good for branding at all, Like italians, But quality is well known factor, especially in textile. That's why, All big brand like , Diesel, levis , Happy socks, (Couple i remember at the moment) produce in Turkey.

    • Thanks for your advice, Business running last 7 years , I believe we did well lasting this long. Before you make a comment like this please consider the hard work going on producing these product. People working behind the seen from farmer to selling this. And compare the price with cup of coffee you drink everyday.

  • We were charging $89 two years ago. when round towel become very popular.
These are the left over stock and I am able to charge $29 now because I already covered my cost.

  • Thanks PJC.
Agreed I sure added to Turkish Cotton bits. I am also new to Ozbargain these two is only two post i done.
I don't have review on my site with others product as well. Our main business is Wholesale.

That's better, now Members have more reasons to visit your website. Prospective shoppers like reassurance - especially at OzBargain - about waht they will get for their money. All your Product pages feature a Review column - I suggest use ot or lose it. Amend the product pages to show these towels are cotton. Do they have labels saying cotton?

      • Yes They all labeled, showing origin and meterial

        • +1

Photograph the label and let that be your Go to Deal image. That's more useful to shoppers than your company name.

          • @PJC: Just visit any Chinese based online shop and you'll learn a lot, Taobao, Aliexpress, Alibaba, Banggood, just to mention some.
Almost always anything they state, they show it with pictures because this is the way it works on internet…..

              @dealhunt: I hear you @ dealhunt,
Unfortunately true. There are still some honest people out there too.
If you living is sydney, Come and visit our store, Ill make you turkish coffee to

              • @Atolyia: The new image is good, but you have removed the original Go to Deal link used for visiting your website. Click the Report button and ask Moderators to fix that - I already have. The solution may be to add that image to your website, too.

Moderators have now returned your link. I think you should add a close-up of that label to your website in case you want to use that next time you post a deal. It amazes me I could not find the word cotton on your website.
