    Well obviously there are extra labor costs involved in taking a 200 LED model, cutting it in half, finding another box to pack it in, etc etc.

  You will want to put a decent high capacity rechargeable AA in this or it will not last very long.

  Assuming a decent 3000mAh NiMH AA battery, and the stated 0.5A current draw, these will last 5-6 hours max. And that is assuming they get a full charge during the day.

  Yeah we bought some from Bunnings the other day and hey only last a couple hours max. Not sure how people have theirs running most of the night, maybe not solar?
