Rather pay the full price than go through Catch's bs

Agree this company hasn’t been any good for years

A competition where the winners have to pay for their prizes. Nice.

    There's always a catch

    Competition not a bargain

  • only few thousand people playing to win.. waste of time

  • Their deals lately are more like Crotch of the day!

Is this a deal or a competition? I think it should be a competition.

      • The only problem with that response is that there is no valid way to downvote it according to the guidelines.

It's clearly a competition… If downvotes are the appropriate way to provide feedback on this "deal" then please find attached one downvote.

Is the worse evil that reps can hide deals as competitions, or that we have to see competitions as deals?

Posted a similar kind of deal few days back by mistake, asked the Mods to move it to competition, but they said they will leave it as as deal. Please refer this comment from Mods.

      • This kinda "deals" are worse than [Targeted]. Honestly, no one cares for such "deals" because they are competition FIRST, and then only deals. For people who doesn't win anything in life (like me), I won't even be bothered with this "deal".

        • Totally agree with you mate. Even I never win, just posted so if anyone else can gain from it. Will skip posting deals like this in future. :)

    • Its something in between.

Might aswell list a lottery ticket as a deal

Some people here actually won in the last competition.

      • Yes, many people did win last time including one of my friend.

  • bad precedent for ozb to allow these sorts of competit - i mean, 'deals'

    • I can see catch making them a 'daily deal'

    Not a deal. Competition

  • +1

    These aren't deals.
They are prizes you have to pay for if you win.

Also Catch has gone very downhill now..

CATCH trying to gain popularity with this crappy marketing, what's the point of this promotion with 50 limit sale from customers point of view?

  • +1

This is a competition, not a deal.

A competition where you have to pay for your prize most certainly is not a bargain.

  • +1

I failed to win the chance to pay for my own item last time so a neg from me.

If there was 500, maybe, maaaaybe, but 50? Nah, this a competition where you gotta then buy your prize at the end.

  • +4

    Yay I won :)

I got one. It wasn't too difficult

  • Damn first time doing this and i tried doing it too fast =/ anyone have a spare code they dont want? :)

    • +1

I've got one if you're still looking?

      • I'm still looking yes. :)

That was fun. There were 1300 people doing the quiz.
I got all the questions right and there was a good 3 minutes after I completed it for the rest of the prizes to be claimed.
    Definitely an achievable competition.

  • I thought the quiz would still be available, but it is not.
So only 50 people got coupon for doing the quiz?
I thought that you do the quiz from 12pm, then you have to try and be 1 of 50 people at 8pm to use the coupon on the site.
