    good deal on spirits.. dan murphys will price match so dnt need to go to richmond. good price for carona but aint half price.. 15$ off mb. still for 30$ if ur into carona is a good buy

    This has been an almost weekly special in the Herald Sun for months, and I (and some friends) have used it at Dan Murphy's every time up until last week. Since last week, the 2 local Dan's stores have mysteriously run out of Corona slabs on the day the special is on. Anyone else found this at their local Dans? I suspect they check the paper and remove whatever is on the ad from sale that day. Was advised last week and again today that they'd get a shipment in the morning, but seems odd as they always have a couple of pallets of Coronas until the last 2 "sale days"

      Ask for a slab of Corona first, THEN go try pricematch.
      See how that works out for you ;) cause they can't say "Oh, we ran out of stock mate" when clearly they just brought one out.

      First Choice will match/beat. Again you need the original to purchase. I find they too mysteriously have run out of the slabs. Last time i found them in the back corner of the cool room, but empty spot on the main selling area.

    Most will only accept the newspaper cut out.

    They were accepting the print out last friday, then head office rang each store Saturday Morning and told them only to accept the newspaper cut outs. So I'm assuming that's the standard policy from now on.

    Got my Corona's and a Midori for the gf today :D

      They always advertise on a Wednesday, and it generally in one of the middle lift outs.

    Invested the priestly sum of $2-something and got 2 vouchers.
    Bottle of Bailey's at DM D'nong Rd for $17.95 and a Bundy for $17.00 at DM Brighton.
    Interesting how the Brighton store didn't just beat the price by 4 cents.
