    nope, not iphones, just ipods…

    the list of what is compatible is in the manual…

    So clock radio with Ipod dock , hmm good effort although hate to buy this thinking it can play iphone

    Hopefully your workmates wont hate you when they work out its ipod only ;)

      I queried the iPod v's iPhone part with the DealMe website - this is the response so far:

      "We have passed your feedback onto our Product specialist who has spoken with the supplier. The supplier has advised that this item will work with Iphones although initially there may be an error message. A simply change to a setting on the Iphone and it will definitely work with this product."

      Have asked what the simple change is and will post when I get a response.

        Here is the follow up response - sounds ok to me so seems like it will work with iPhone but happy to be corrected if others know otherwise:

        "Ok, the following steps are required:

        1. Insert Iphone as per normal connection point for all Ipod/Iphone devices
        2. When Iphone is docked, the phone will display the message: This accessory is not optimized for this Iphone

        At this point two options are available:

        1. Press dismiss on your Iphone and the phone will then begin to charge and access all normal features
        2. The Pop up screen will disappear after approximately 15 secs and begin to charge and access all normal features"

    I checked this out as well - it says in the pdf from Sanyo that it is compatible with ipod Touch - which is the same as an iphone (without the phone part)
