Got an email for this offer from Zapals. Differs from the gearbest one in that this plugs straight into USB where as that one runs off batteries.

Must be logged in to apply coupon, price includes GST. Limit one per account.

Came to $1.31 AUD shipped for me, converted through PayPal.

Enjoy.

  • Thanks, ordered.

For those wondering, it says it has a USB plug for power source.

Was gonna order this but pretty sure I have at least 2 orders from Zapals from almost 2 months ago. Can't go through with it anymore.

    • 2 months ago? Sounds like you got scammaz'd

      • their policy is up to 45days so not yet

Same. Lucky I keep on top of what I’ve yet to receive and I ask them for a refund after waiting nearly 2 months. This has happened to me around 3 times over the last year.

Feel sorry for the peeps that just forget due to the long lead times and don’t follow up.

      • Maybe I'm just lucky haha, I always get what I order from Zapals. Gearbest - not so much 😢.

  • Do these LED wires overheat after prolonged usage?

Highly doubt it - there is hardly any current draw from these LEDs

If they just come with USB plug & no mains adapter it should be okay. I ordered some cheap multicoloured LED string lights from China that had its own power plug no transformer so basically 240v throughout. It only used a 1/2 watt resister for each light instead of properly dropping it down to a lower voltage, that means the resisters would generate a fair bit of heat. I noticed within the 2nd season that where the resisters were, the plastic was burnt. Stopped using it then.

  • Cheers OP! 'No-no limits' either for anyone else wanting multiples!

  • I bought some led lights from zapals this time last year. They were slightly different, but plugged straight into 240V with a very flimsy plastic box that I presume was basic transformer.
Bottom line is the box fell apart and wires broke at a few lights. When I checked with my multimeter some of the exposed wires were 240V, so don't use around children, pets or anyone that doesn't know how risky poor wiring can be.

    • Voltage DC 4.5V
