Slight retail markup (the strands in the photo are grown in Tas.) you can buy saffron for between $1100 and $7000 per kilo depending on quality.It is actually not that hard to grow it yourself but you only get 3 stigmas per flower and 1 flower per plant
Try it in a risotto.
I prefer Event Saffron Powder.
