    Great price for this phone especially as its unlocked. I've got one and its very good for an ENTRY model smart phone. Resistive screen can be a little frustrating at times but i got the hang of it pretty quick. Everything else on it is great imho. Nice size too as its not too big. Upgradable to 2.1 too!

    320x480… better resolution than IDEOS.. Pity the touch screen is resistive. Latest official firmware is 2.1 only.

    Touch choice between the two (IDEOS for $99 is locked to CrazyJohns/Vodafone).

      ROMs out there can bump it up to 2.3 if you feel like rooting it

        ahhh yes and that logic applies for the capacitive Huawei Ideos too?
        GT540 has better resolution but Ideos has capacitive screen… each has their ups and downs. price isnt the main factor…

      its hard at first if you've played with an iphone or a similar 'high-end' smartphone. but as sk1ppy says above its just a matter of getting use to it and then its not that bad. pretty powerful phone for the price…
