Don't be deceived by the 1920x1080 resolution. As best I can tell the native resolution of the screen is 480 x 320 and the screen simply downscales the image to the physical resolution, hence the blurriness.

    • Yes, you are right! The physical resolution of the screen is 480320. There hasn't existed such a high resolution in such a small screen in current market,it's compatible with 19201080,it doesn't mean the screen itself can show 1920*1080.Besides,we mentioned this in "NOTE" part.

        iphone 4 was 960×640 at 3.5"

        • You'll find the aspect ratios very different, with the iphone being much "taller" in it's display.

        • Price is in proporation to the cost,if you can afford $1000,we could also supply such a high quality screen as Iphone4.Once again, the physical resolution of the screen is 480X320,but it's competible with 1920x1080.

      • Are you serious ?

Yes, this is a common trick on eBay. Petty much every projector is listed as 1920x1080. The only thing I really care about is physical resolution, and that isn't given explicitly. On OzBargain I'd like posts to focus on the physical resolution. I guess it might help if you were running an OS that didn't support 420x320, but faking a higher resolution doesn't allow the screen to display anymore pixel. If you are using a Rasberry Pi you are presumably running Linux and don't need hardware support to fake a higher resolution; you could just run xrandr —output LVDS1 —scale 4x4.

  • It's a great price (considering amazon US appears to have it for $us30.)

But IMHO the screen is too small (reminds me if my old HTC P3600 pda).

    • It's designed to be 3.5'',we have bigger one like 5'',7'' to satisfy differnt demands if you think the size is too small.

      • yeah thanks! I'll wait for a sale on the 5" one.

You've been fairly upfront about the resolution, but how about expanding a 480x320 image to fit your product photo, rather than shrinking down a hi-res image that makes it look like it's a 1080p screen?

The physical resolution of this screen is 480X320, so it can not make physical amplification! If don't zoom, the original system UI menu can't be seen if it exceeds the 480X320 area, then you have to move the window to make it.
