  • Does it include drinks?

    • Found it for you (short answer = NO)

      PREMIER BEVERAGE PACKAGE
Includes cocktails, wine, beer, fountain soda, specialty coffees, bottled water, teas and other individual beverages up to $12 USD each. $59.99 USD per person, per day (excluding gratuities)

      • +1

        $12 USD each

        What !!!!

        That's about $17 AU !!!

        Can you BYO ?

      • Thats $85 AUD

You'll need to drink 5 cocktails a day to get your money worth. Are you allowed to purchase the drink packages on certain days while you are on the ship?

        • Generally, no.

But if I've counted correctly you'll have 9 sea says on the ship, based on the cruise that I went on there will be almost nothing to do on these days but drink so I don't think it will be hard to get your moneys worth.

          • @dane45: I'm prone to hang overs so I cant drink everyday hahahaha

            • @Homr: You can't with that attitude at least ;)

If that's the case it will probably be much more cost effective to pay as you go with beverages

    • My understanding is that drinks are usually extra. Also given it is American I assume you also have to tip.

      • +4

I assume you also have to tip.

Thankfully, I'm not American, so I can skip that…

Apparently there is a joke amongst US taxi drivers:

          • What is the difference between a canoe and an Australian?
          • A canoe will occasionally tip.

there is a joke amongst US taxi drivers:

            the joke's on them…

      • As someone who has been on cruises and on this boat before. No you don't tip.

        • Star Princess, out of the US.

          Yes, you do.

  • OP .. you've got the dates (and the math!!) all wrong, it's Dec 4 to 20 .. :-) .. !!

  • Generally speaking you can’t buy drinks packages for certain days. Also, if one person in your room buys a drinks package, you all have to. The drinks packages include a tip (you just swipe your cruise card). But it’s expected that at the end of the trip you give people who served you a tip. They’ll give you enevelopes to do this.

    • The US drinks package specifically excludes gratuities

    • Tip: be good to your mother

  • Cheap air fares needed

  • Go home! your drunk…

Won't people be annoyed when they find out disembarkation is Santiago and not San Diego as advised -only us500 to fly back

    • That is a doozy.

    • +1

Yeah, San Diego. Cause that sounds a lot like Santiago, so should be fine…

Negging to draw attention that the posted deal is incorrect. And given it's from the cruise agency, you'd expect them to know what they're selling!

  • What is p.pax I havent come across that term before

    • +1

      per passenger?

      • I dont know, that's why im asking :)

  • full of yanks, thanks but no-thanks

  • A crise ship in the Andes. Now that would be worth seeing.
