    • -1

It's still in the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page

      Just screen shot it

      • +2

Found a new page that still has the deal.

        • It's now saying it's currently withdrawn.

  • lmfao

    This got ozbargained.

  • It seems there is no limit for number of accounts so deal is not expired ?

    • The previous link I posted had information about this deal but is now removed. However, there is now a new link which is the same deal.

  • +1

  • +1

Can’t see them pulling this they’re a huge company associated with the 4 big banks.

    • +3

Tell that to the royal commission :p

  • Cheers!!!

  • Just signed up, but i cannot login to their Internet banking, it says the login details are incorrect

    • +1

Did you include the exclamation mark in the WAC?

      • Not gonna lie.. I thought they were just excited to give me my password 😂

        • I did the same, looks like a lot of people had the same issue. Someone mentioned the exclamation thing up further, I'd already reset my password.

  • +3

    Expired.
    "This promotion is currently withdrawn"

    • Same for me when I click the link

  • How can I obtain my own referral code / URL so my partner can use to create her account ?

  • this is the link of Member Referral Program
    https://www.cua.com/Home/ProductsAndServices/PersonalBanking…
but I dont think Cash100 account is qualified.

    • that is not the australian web site

    • that's a CUA America mate lol…

  • How do you find your referral code on the app?

  • Terrible. They should consider the effect of the on boarding with such a promotion before coming out with it and then quickly pulling out

    • +1

      $100 a pop m8, can't last forever
there were deals with less value that expired sooner than this

  • +4

Phew, just made it in the nick of time. Although nowhere confirms that I successfully entered the promo code after completing the application. Hope they honor it!

    • +1

Yep I feel I've made it in time but no confirmation either!

  • Whoa, was working when I started the application process, hope they still honour it.

  • haha damn missed it before it got ozbargained!

  • Well even though they changed the text of that promotion page, I just signed up with the original link and put the code in during sign up. I hope for the best.

    • . Worked it out

  • This promotion is currently withdrawn.

Think I got in just in time :P Although I will actually leave at least a grand in my account for a few months since they've been so kind to offer a deal such as this.

  • +14

    OZ what?: The promotions manager.

  • Did anyone get a confirmation in their email that the Cash100 code was applied?

  • I'm pretty sure it means everyone who signed up will not be getting that $100 is my gut feeling otherwise why wouldn't they state expired….

    • Calmerancer: Absolute rubbish.

  • +2

They never heard of ozbargain before? they should have seen this coming.

  • That was quick… Was just sharing this with my mates and now expired.

  • It's a pity the app doesn't open with Android 8.1

    • +1

Works on my Nokia N8 running 8.1.0

  • Nice work OP

  • +7

I signed up previously to another credit union link with IMB where the promotion was similar. In the end they changed the T&C's and refused to pay everyone. I went to the Banking Ombudsman and they paid up.

I feel the same thing is going to happen here.

    • Nice.

    • fos really helps

    • +1

Nice work, I jumped on that deal and they rang me to tell me it never existed despite me saving screenshots of their webpage.

If this mob tries anything I’ll go to the ombudsman.

    • I wish I'd done that. I got lured into imb as well

    • I don't feel the same way.

  • Missed out!

  • Noooooo I missed it ….

  • predict a min deposit requirement. Perhaps the promo team forgot to put that in. Doh… If you have min deposit, the promo can pay for itself a little bit.

  • Victim of not checking OzBargain late at night once again :(

  • +6

I saw this just before bed, was going to leave it to the morning (feeling sure it would still be active in the morning) but one thing I've always remember since missing my first great deal was lost: Never leave a deal until later, if you see it then do it. So I signed up last night just before hitting the sack. Thank goodness I did.

  • +2

'Between 24 October and 30 November', was this Ozflood syndrome again? (3880 clicks)

    Thanks OP, good find.

  • +1

Can I use a referral link? This way both get $75 each. Something is better than nothing.:)

  • Its been withdrawn! What happened?

  • Haha. Only one day ozbargained!!!
    Luckily I applied last night.

  • Anyone called CUA to check if they are honouring the deal? Not going to transfer any money until I know the deal is on for this account…

    • +1

I transferred $5. Will do 5 x $1 myki top ups later today.

      • +1

How can you without the card?

        • +1

Thought I could Android pay via the app. I was wrong

      • +1

How did you do that? Did you have log-in details? I have not received anything in my email.

        • Yeah the email took 5 minutes to arrive. And they showed you the details for about 1 minute before the "session expired". The app resets every time you swap between messages and the cua app.

          • @idonotknowwhy: Ever since I signed up I also received nothing.

            • +2

@watwatwat: just spoke to the cust rep, they are working to send the confirmation email shortly.

              • @Rob123: Cool. Looks like we just need to cut them some slack. I guess they weren't anticipating this.

    • +3

I did this morning, they will

      • Did they say why they pulled the promotion?

        • Isn't it obvious? They don't have an unlimited budget for promotions.

          • @Abbi: Also wondering if everyone needs to call them to confirm that we get the promo or they'll fob us off.

        • I only called because I signed up 3 days before the promotion started, and wanted to argue to be included in the promotion, which they agreed to ensure the offer will be honoured for me.
I didn't call to confirm why promotion was withdrawn, or anything else that might change in the future. Sorry to disppoint.

  • i always wonder how is the name CUA supposed to pronounciate? is it like tsuaaaaa~~~ or see U axxxxxx

    • like how you'd pronounce CIA

      • So.. same as Kia?
        Like.. the Cia Cerato?

    • Its see you aye, i.e the letters. Its an acronym for Credit Union Australia

      • -1

yes, abbreviated to CUA but they write it all hipster, modern in lowercase "cua", so is a valid question. How to pronounce cua?

    • Pronounced coo uhh

  • +1

You guys sure this is expired? It just worked for me.

  • +3

Its back! They got more money!

    • Lol

    • NOTE: The success of this offer led to CUA being inundated with people wanting to open new accounts, and as a result, we experienced some system capacity issues.
These issues have now been rectified and the offer has been reinstated.

  • God dammit, I signed up for the $75 dollar cashback deal just before this came back.

  • All this extra capacity and they still can't send me any email since I signed up 24 hours ago..

  • registered yesterday…no email yet from CUA! :(

  • +1

Just signed up. Login is all good, but can't yet transfer money into the account (from ING)… says invalid account number

    • wait a day for the account to be created
