na, signed up for wife and mum as well.

      • How do you get other identities? Would love some.

  • I got it as well

  • Cheers OP
    $100 deposited into our accounts.

I got mine but wife didnt. Both met criteria? Anyone else same?

    • Could wait until the 14th to inquire. Did you also login twice to the app for your wife?

    • Yes, same here. Did old in and spends both accounts.

    • Check your transactions, make sure they are marked with PAYW (Visa PayWave). I got mine, but wife made 5 transactions, not knowing that one of them was marked as EFTPOS (must be from the shop where they won't allow you to tap and pay), so no $100 for her.

      • That was it, one transaction wasn’t payWave 😢

        • Unfortunately hers were all paywave, will chase up with them this week.

      • Did the all the 5 taps at the same purchase. However 2 marked as PAYW and 3 are marked as CUSC. Anyone know what the latter is?

  • -3

Must it be paywave? If I use the card for online transactions, is it ok?
    I don’t receive money yet :-(

    • +7

Visa payWave transactions must have fully settled on the account by 31 December 2018 to qualify.

    • +1

Yes, it has to be paywave, not online.

  • -1

Only made 4 paywave and one online. Missed out :(

  • +5

How do so many newbs fail to read and follow instructions?

    • Not doing them early enough.
    • Not doing payWave and instead inserting or doing online.
    • Thinking it meant spend $5 instead of make 5 transactions.

    • Doing 4 payWave instead of 5.

    • +7

Everything they needed to know was in the OP so I think I have done a reasonable job.

      • +2

Yes. You have done an excellent job. So many of us benefit from it because Your posted the deal on ozbargain. Thank you!

        • not that hard, i wish i had signed more people up.
all this competition from banks and mobile phone service providers is making me money. love it.

  • +1

Thanks OP for easiest $100, good bonus after Christmas/NY season.

  • -3

How do I close the account? Also did anyone get a referral code?

    • +3

Why are you so fast to close?

It doesn't charge any ongoing fees. Might as well keep it open for a bit (it doesn't even require monthly deposits to avoid a fee).

      • +1

The faster you close it the faster you're eligible for the next promo.

        • +2

Don't think CUA is very pleased with OzB community.

          • +3

@askbargain: No, I doubt they would be. Massive respect to them for honouring the deal though. In saying that, my friend who I told about this offer decided to move their banking over to them. I wouldn't be surprised if other people did too.

        • I am keeping $2000 because this is their OSKO limit. ING is only $1000. Wish their interest rate was higher so I could keep more money there.

      • +1

Its a good account, ill make good use of it.

  • -1

    Thanks OP. $400!

  • +3

Better to check with the bank by giving them a call, it seems the credit posting is done manually. They have not been able to find my details in their system to be able to process the $100 cash back. They promised to call me back tomorrow.

  • +2

Thanks OP - got my payment, was worth checking via online banking that all 5 x Tx were paywave..
Seems some OzB's didn't double & triple check and have missed out on this one.. great offer!!

  • +1

Got mine today for 5x 1c transactions. Easiest $100 I've ever made.

  • Received my $100, thanks again for the post :)

    • Me too. Got email and received deposit yesterday.

  • +1

For those that did late minute paywaves and didn't receive the $100, have you had any luck getting them to pay anyway?

    • -2

I'll assume by the lack of responses CUA are holding firm and not giving people leeway if they did not complete the instructions 100% correctly.

  • -1

Just had a missed call and voicemail from CUA. I received my money and aso confirm email. Number was
    ‭07 3552 4766‬

  • Did not receive my $100. Will try calling on Tuesday.

I made sure I have done everything right - 5x payWave, logged in twice before stipulated deadline.

    • -2

      Same. Any luck with calling?

      • Had to call twice. Each call was > 40 min wait, only to be told I did not input the correct promo code.

I suspect it was because I clicked on a random referral link, and manually changed to the 'cash100' promo code and went ahead with the application as per normal. My argument was there was no error message pop up so I presumed the correct code had been applied.

Just not bothered to call and wait for another hour and reason with them.

  • Didnt get my $100 either, I called and asked if i inputted the promo code correctly, they said yes. Launched an investigation, they came back to me today to say i actually didnt input the promo code.

What a waste of time moving my accounts over to CUA from ANZ. Looks like ill move to ING instead, seems like a far better product anyway.

Why all the downvotes? CUA's eSaver Boost account has 2.75% on balances up to $500,000, ING's Savings Maximiser has 2.80% on up to $100,000. CUA's savings account is more suited to me.

Genuinely willing to move my stuff across but this kind of backpedaling is not good practice. They first said I inputted the code correctly, then later said I didn't. I acknowledge that it might have been me at fault by not inputting the code, but what if it wasn't? Why did they give me confirmation that I did correctly enter the code when I called them yet now they are saying i didn't?

      • Looks like this is their only way of not wanting to honour the cashback, I was also told I did not input the correct code but could have been due to me manually changing to the right promo code when signing up.
