    I wonder if the anti-plastic brigade have a hate-boner for these the same they have for other disposable products.

    I mean, latex biodegrades, but that's still over a span of years and they probably look a lot more like jelly-fish than plastic bags, and so still has a same kills-per-unit for turtles and sea-life as plastic bags. Nitrile gloves don't biodegrade at all, and they're all disposable and probably can't even be re-used like plastic bags and straws actually can be.

      Some of the anti-plastic brigade know only as much as what the media (inc social) media focus on. Most of them are probably wearing PU/vegan leather shoes and belts without realising those are plastic.

      Not to mention that "plastic gloves" are made of PVC which is a little carcinogenic, and preparing food with it and then eating it may not be the smartest thing to do.

    The Hercules nitrile gloves are decent for the money. They rip eventually so aren’t pro level but are fine for working on cars where oil and chemicals are involved
