This currently retails for $499 at Mobileciti, JB Hi Fi and Officeworks. But going for $385 at Tobydeals (greystock) which I think is a bargain as it is. But even further, I was able to get a successful pricematch at officeworks and now running as my main daily driver https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/huawei-nov… at a bargain of $365.75!

Absolute bargain for the specs! 128gb 4GB Ram Huge 6.3inch screen 1.5+ day battery life, B28, Headphone jack etc. One down side is no NFC. But I think it isnt easy to fins a phone like this elsewhere for this price and specs with local warranty. Just wanted to share this absolute steal. Have a good day guys!

    Someone really needs to convince the Chinese that they should want NFC, then every manufacturer will include it in their phones.

      NFC in China is only useful for public transport, replacing Myki or whatever they call it… That's why budget phones are not bothered.

      However, they do want you to buy a watch or track with an NFC… Annoying

        I called them, they wont price match, as this is a grey hongkong stock with no local warranty, that what they say, the customer service lady is very helpful and lovely.

      Update: Priced matched at Officeworks. No hassles, they just had to check shipping cost. There's a section called "Shipping" on their site (at the bottom) that states free shipping for items over $50.

              @koolchamp81: I saw that OzB post but they don't match gearbest but price was AU$357.99 + AU$13.37 = $381.36. Think they said because they're not Australian. Wasn't paying too much attention sorry, because it was only a few dollars different to be arguing. But, different store, different rules/interpretation?

                @pippohippo: I was about to go to officeworks today for Huawei Nova3i to beat tobydeals price but found out tobydeals have raised the price little bit. Will keep an eye for the pricedrop and the try again, how much did you end up paying and for black or the purple one ?

                  @koolchamp81: same price as OP. They only match products that are identical, and Tobydeals only had the black one. Price will probably drop soon, but hopefully, they still have stock. Melb CBD didn't have much in stock, staff said about 3 left. Hopefully they order more!

    Thanks OP. Successfully price beat at officeworks.
    Been using it for last couple of days, so far so good. The only negative part so far is that there's no notification icons at top of the screen… Does anyone know whether this is EMUI thing?

        I get the notications on locked screen but not little ones on top of screen

          I get it on the top left, but it's quite limited in space given it's sharing the notch with earpiece.

    Todbydeals lowered price to $379 today (Black one). I picked up mine from O/W Kotara for $360.05 after price beat.
